      Thanks, Jazzy for the comment! I'm glad I was able to help. TH-cam just showed me how I did for the year and supposedly this was my most watched video. Still, how crazy! I guess I need to focus on more things like this!

    Thanks. Anyone trying this method should first ensure they have a flattened image on every layer or else it will take photoshop forever to export them.

    Does this also work for print files? Does this method maintain the quality of the images and their color profile too when exporting?

    Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I actually bought the Creative Suite 6 and planned on using it (including Acrobat Pro 10 that I bought outright, too) for many years until recent Mac system "updates" RENDERED IT UNUSABLE and Adobe hasn't responded to **any** of my requests for help. You've just saved me with this video! I have no interest in paying monthly or annually and especially have no interest in using "the cloud" or having to log in their regularly just to stay active. I like having all my files on my own hard drives and because of the cloud, I lost thousands of files having no idea until recently it was because of that stupid cloud.
    Maybe it's because I'm *ahem* old enough to appreciate having all my software on their original, physical disks... dunno. But, I had to log in just to say THANK YOU!

      Hi. there, glad I was. able to help. I think the cloud is great though. I have lost most of my travel photos using back-up drives, and even when trying to back up a drive to have a 2nd copy it made me lose images and files again. So the cloud seems safer.

    Thanks for your useful tutorial. but i have a problem in making pdf from automate. after making pdf from psds, some layers is missed in final pdf and some text characters too. (it is visible and with no problem in psd) how can i fix this ?

    • @headTrix
      @headTrix  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed our FREE Photoshop Tutorial. Sounds like you have to watch the video again, and either export your layers to JPEGS first, or export your Layer Comps if using multiple layers .. then export to PDF.

      its ok when i make pdf after exporting as jpeg. but by use of this method pdf is a raster not a vector.
      a psd with layers makes final pdf a vector file.

  • @theapexpredator157

    The first part requires 2 separate steps which I wish was just 1 and the second part seems like a lot of work as well...
    I wish there was a more simpler and easier way to just create a pdf of all the layers in a photoshop file...

    • @markitskowitch2053
      @markitskowitch2053 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it is pretty easy! Its only 2 steps, export the layers to files, and then create a PDF with those files! You could also create it into an Action and then it can be set to a keyboard shortcut and it can be done with a keyborad shortcut! Cheers!

    • @theapexpredator157
      @theapexpredator157 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is fairly simple to get all done, but it could be simpler... There should be an option to create "Layers to PDF" (Single PDF - not multiple). The benefit is that there would be less clicking around and stuff. One could just have a popup menu that shows which layers should be included and the User can toggle the Checkbox. There would also be a way to move the order of the Layers as well so that the PDF can have its pages Rearranged. It would be fast and efficient...
      Curious about "Actions," I'll look into that... It seems like it is a form of scripting, but again... This is more work for the User so I disapprove in that respect...@@markitskowitch2053

    While attempting to do this with a series of 1920x1080 pictures, they end up being too small inside the pdf. In 100% zoom, they appear with half their original resolution, and when zoomed in, they appear pixelated. Does this happen to anyone else? I'm using PS CS6.

    • @headTrix
      @headTrix  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      SoutheastVFX Did you export them to JPEG? Any optimization format will reduce the quality of the images. Keep it about "10" when you use the Export layers to Images or set it to "100" if using 'Save for Web' when compressing your JPEGS, or Export with NO compression, by exporting to BMP and selecting 24 or 32 bit for Millions of Colors. Hopefully that helps! Please keep headTrix Training in mind for your Training & Consulting needs!
