Reminds me of Aaron Smith. Quick accurate pass + excellent and creative game management. Weakness maybe defense in a tight game but the fact that he can kick for goal and play 10 counts for him in terms of making it for the Springboks. He should be a great asset with long term tactical leadership on the field.
This is 1 electrifying dude .... but my worry is he reminds me of Pat Lambi (based on body resilience) I'm afraid it doesn't look like he can take a hit .... AND THAT IS CRUCIAL IN RUGBY
I can just imagine SN at 9, with Libbok, Esterhuizen and Moody at center. KLA and Cheslin on the wings. Willemse at full back. It is probably not the back line for every game. But it is hard to picture a more attacking back line than that. Oh, and SN can take over the kicking from Manie.
I read somewhere that his defending is, not necessarily bad, but nonexistent. As in, he makes a ridiculously low number of tackles. Gonna be a tough sell for the Bok selectors.
Or 9 with Libbok at 10. The opposition will have to watch the inside channels. I'd actually be very happy to see him at 9 with all of Reinach, De Klerk, Jantjies and Williams being near the end portion of stellar careers. Not that you'd say Reinach and Williams are "old men" (relative to rugby players in general of course) given their pace.
He is very sharp indeed. But weak defense creates easy opportunities.probably a good option for 9 off the bench who can cover fly half, and wing maybe. I wouldn’t call him the “boks next flyhalf”
He will be a force to reckon with if his kicking is on point🙌🏿. Right now the only 10 we are looking for is one whom is technical and precise with the tee
Can he challenge the other 9's in the squad? Definitely, but 10 I don't think so, we have enough talent in that position, we just need to groom them well.
Slippery little bugger and very likable if he's in your team, won't be surprised if Rassie has his eye on him but I guess it's all about battle stats in SA. Makes me wonder about all this talk of making rugby a more running flowing game and that the Boks are foreward dominated and then you watch the speedsters SA produces, 1 on 1 they're a menace.... Have to take your hat off to these quick little okes and Nohamba is a very small guy, he's literally a foot shorter and 50kg lighter than some of the opposition trying to tackle him, not easy!
I'm not sure about being the future 10. Seems much more versatile. Think he looks like the next Frans Steyn / Damien Willemse, in terms of super utility option.
@@binjaman1 Reinach is 34 Im pretty sure he is happy to step away from International rugby with 2 World cups and FaF is 32 so what maybe 1-2 more years? Williams and Henrikse will fight for No1 and we need a 3rd option (Nohamba/Papier ect)
Willemse can side step you in a telephone box. he is bigger and has more expereince. nohmamba is a talent but lets develop him a bit more. MOnnin is still a class bok 10.
Don't know man, i really like the guy, was disappointed the Sharks let him go but i doubt he'll be a springbok 10. Handre got 2 more world cups in him and other viable candidates will emerge with time. I'm not sure the Emirates Lion is a great place for long term tactical leadership and game management, i pray he moves to Stormers or the Bulls: John Dobson or Jake White will do a stellar job with him.
Fantastic player but not a 10 and will have to compete with Grant Williams and Hendrikse who is our next era of scrumhalves. As long as Herschelle is not there I am happy. What happened to him after such a promising start.
He reminds of All Black great Aaron Smith. I whould prefer him above Sasha NF of Stormers at 10.But then again i played hooker at school so what whould i know.... 😂😂😂😂😂
Where are some clips of him defending. He won't have the time and space like the clips that have been shown here at an international level. He's no where near being a #10 for the Springboks. His time may come later down the line, but not at the expense of Handre Pollard and Manie Libbok. Libbok is the future in the #10 jersey for South Africa, it's that simple.
I don't see him being a starter but he'll be great off the bench considering his versatilty cause he isn't our best 9 or 10 but he'll be amazing at covering both, no other team has that
I like him a lot. Versatile at both 9 and 10. I think we'll be seeing more of him
Me 2.

Next world cup ain't gonna be a tactical gameplay like this year it's gonna be domination
Not under Rassie Erasmus
He’d be a fantastic player off the bench, especially for a 7:1 split in future eh?
Really look up to him as an u14 player
We need him in the Bok squad asap! He needs game time in a Bok jersey... upcoming international tests are perfect for that.
That inside step is just something else😍🔥
The side step is insane😮
WOW What a player.
The fact that he can play 9 & 10 is perfect for our Bomb Squad back versatility requirement
He is not a FLYHALVE to many short comings
Would not fit into the old fashioned game plan of Rassie Erasmus remember what happened to MANIE LIBBOK
@@PatrickDedericks what happened? He looked great in most of his games for the boks
Too soon to say but he is a very promising candidate. The dude knows where the try line is
I remember seeing him at the u20 world cup and thinking "He is brilliant but unfortunately he is too small to go pro" SO glad I was wrong.
His got a serious eye for a gap, and that step !
He will show them where to go. His spirit is electrified.
This guy is the smartest South African rugby player and im including even all the world cup winning boks. He will own the number 9 jersey this oak
HE'S EXCEPTIONAL AS UNIQUE AS HE IS❤
Untswempu kakhulu uNohamba.
SFN will most likely be the future 10
It's SFM, SFN
This is 1 electrifying dude .... but my worry is he reminds me of Pat Lambi (based on body resilience)

The springboks depth is scary
Yep, he is a very talented young man

Interesting
Coaches instructions... Even in football some players are not allowed to be involved in marking.
He looks ridiculously good. Is he a better 9 or 10?
Wow what a talent,, next bok star
He looks like a special player who has a bit of unpredictability in him which will worry the opposition.
WoW, he's really Good.🤯
Faf must be worried.
I thought I was the only one thinking this, this Boy is future
The next big thing in rugby, that's for sure
No this young man is exceptionally talented, Sonelle has to be the next scrum half!
Good option 7- 1 split maybe 6 - 2 split
Nobamba is the African Arron Smith
Nohamba
The next Springbok superstar🇿🇦
Defence chips please then we we can make a judgement

Imagine him scoring the winning try in the world cup final 2027

Put this number 9 with number 12 in the boks, Zulu, they would become the best pairing
Gent will fail as a 10 but as a number 9 thought think we have a successor to Fourie du Preez crown the vision and rugby brain of this guy wow
better as a 9 but questions defensively and with boot?
He's a number 9, next Springbok number 9.
He should stick to playing 9... he's got all the necessary skills. As a 10 he'll be exposed defensively, especially at international level.
I'm not sure about being the future 10. Seems much more versatile.
Think he looks like the next Frans Steyn / Damien Willemse, in terms of super utility option.
Grant Williams and him the 9/10 axis
Or him and mannie
SA’s problem is too much great talent, it’s a real problem.
Next number 9 along with Grant Williams. Jordan Hendrikse or Sacha-Feinberg Mngomezulu is the next 10
No not at 10...they will run monsters down his channel. Great option at 9 though
Because SA need another 9.. they took 5 to the RWC

Definitely No 9. Still the same benefit. Stakes are higher at 10.
Will give Boks a kicking option since Manie shows no signs of improving.
As a 9 yes, 10 not so much, maybe in a pinch.
Cant picture him defending the 10 channel in internationals
Can definitely become a WC 9

9 for me

Small in stature. Big in brain.
Just give him a chance and find out...easy
THE BEST
No he is not a natural 10. If you want to win trophies internationally you play players in their natural positions
Where are some clips of him defending. He won't have the time and space like the clips that have been shown here at an international level.

No
too small
No definitely not 10 , maybe scumhalf , he’s too small for our 10 , should be Sacha
Unless he's a steroid user - no. SA Rugby has won last two RWC's off the back of steroid cheats.
A BIG NO !! He is an opportunist, he only shines against weak teams like the Sharks and the Bulls a NO show against MANIE LIBBOK
The weak Bulls poes klapped the Stormers.
The Boks feed of opportunity
You are dizzy
