The image trace ignore colour other than white is my favourite I was so stoked to find that waiting a few days ago!

Thanks for the update. I was one of the complainers about the Image Trace in 27.7, because it destroyed my workflow with that balloon $#!+. It's nice to know that they listened and brought back the original interface, plus the ignore color addition.
Yeah it looks like they listened for sure. The balloon thing reminded me of the PS art filter icons lol

Update 1 thing was already there on photoshop if you didnt know. I think its called match font option from one of the things in the top bar

I actually had to roll back to Illustrator 2022 because the new Image Trace was so broken. In 2022, I could get near perfect image traces of logos with minimal tweaking (I work in a sign shop and many people bring in raster images of their logos that I end up needing to trace and/or recreate). With the 2023 update, Adobe actually made my job harder because, no matter how much I tried to tweak or massage the settings, I couldn't get *anything* near the crispness and accuracy of my 2022 traces. And a LOT of people had the same problem. Adobe literally *broke* Image Trace and tried to tell us it was "better".
I'll install the latest version and try Trace out again, but I'm not holding my breath that Adobe fixed it.

I do miss Adobe, especially Illustrator, but I don't miss being force to *rent my software* thanks to the Affinity creative suite, an occasional jump into Inkscape, and DaVinci Resolve for all things video/audio. For a long time, I was responsible for Adobe getting receiving a lot of $$$-but I just can't rent any more.
I ditched Adobe over 4 years ago - have NEVER looked back. Affinity ROCKS!!! It just has clean intuitive interface, and buy once have free updates - at least until next major version...Still using version 1.10 and version 2 only did primarily cosmetic update to tools - see adobe match the $65 USD per app!!!!!!!! C'mon EVERYONE -- get OFF the ADOBE Slave ship!!!! Move to Affinity!

Sir how to set pannel Right side in illustrator
6:00 ignore color option in Image Trace - The negative part of this feature is that it doesn't have a contiguous setting. If I want to delete the white background it will also delete any white within the artwork. A contiguous feature would only delete the white background and any white touching the white background or whatever color was selected to ignore. Hopefully they will add that.
For whatever reason i can't seem to type in the prompt box for recolor beta
All these AI text prompt tools seem promising if they continue developing them and don’t become stagnant which Adobe is notorious for.
Let's hope they do become a useful part of the workflow 👍
Wait until they go live with them and then ask huge extra fees for it. I'm sure it won't be included in your current subscription.

Type match is horrendous. Does not work well. I get better results with InDesigns version. Also online font matching just works best.
Photoshop has had match font for ages so its nice to see illustrator catching up finally

All these „features“ only show that Adobe is afraid of future and and competitors who are cheaper or even free. There is no need for it any more. Acrobat showed that before
Forget all these features. They need to address the speed of Illustrator, it's become unbelievably slow over the years with all the bloat. Even creating a new blank document takes AGES.
It might be your device? It runs OK on my computer, it might take a few seconds to launch but it's fast when working 🤷🏻♂️
