It is so strange that I genuinely enjoy watching someone run around the Skyrim landscape testing for glitches. Entertainment in 2019 is weirdly awesome.
It's the calm and serene nature of Skyrim landscapes. Even the animals fit in when they ignore the player. The RPGs always tend to make the land too fairy-tale-like and too action-packed. That's the same reason why Fallout 3 Capital Wastelands easily beats Fallout 4 Commonwealth when it comes to immersion and atmosphere.
Also, I remember a Beyond Skyrim video few months ago - they were running around Hammerfell and Highrock, showcasing the landscapes and cities built in Bethesda-like fashion. That video was 3 hours long and I binged it in one go, completely immersed in the world on screen... Man, Beyond Skyrim cannot come soon enough :)
It really satisfies in odd way. As does watching the the creation of Skyblivion landscape in Twich (which Gopher has shared in his channel at least few times).
Top 3 entertainment choices for 2019: Avengers: Endgame. John Wick Chapter 3. Gopher runs around Skyrim monologuing about how bad the Creation Club is. Life is good. On the note of the CC, is it possible to simply set SkyrimSE to not update? I know there is a mod for Fallout 4 that automatically backs up your exe when the game updates, I don't know if it will work for SkyrimSE, though.
Gopher, you realize that...well...you're Gopher. If you ask somebody you know is knowledgeable about how to customize ENB to make you an ENB, they will probably make you one. If for no other reason than to have bragging rights for being the author of "Gopher ENB". The kind of ENB you want is fairly simple. Virtually anybody who has made an ENB could do it easily. Hell, they might fight over it as any ENB with your name attached will make hot files easily and be massively downloaded. Sometimes I wonder if you're aware of how well known you are....lol
Completely agree with you. I'm willing to bet that a enb modder or two will see this video and be willing to fight to spin a custom enb just for gopher. If I could, I would gladly pour my soul into the work for the bragging rights.
@Kelsey G I would be willing to bet my very soul that Gopher checks out Hodi. He enjoys MRX mod videos, I'm sure that includes Hodo too like every other Skyrim enthusiast.
This would take a bit more work, but is probably the best option. ENBs are not really within my skill sets or I'd be happy to make and donate the files.
"A middle-aged man wanders the land of Skyrim ... just sightseeing" - Nothing wrong with that. Still waiting for the tourist playthrough :D Honestly, knowing the minions, you'd probably have quite an audience if you decided to stream something like that. (We all love your rants, you know?)

Use auto backup .exe mod on nexus so you can use older (and sufficient) version. I was angry after search for updated skse plugins and I dont have need to use actual version of Skyrim because of new message from creation club on my Main menu
I play on console most of the time, and it drives me nuts on console too. What's even worse is none of the mods on the creation club work anyway so I wind up having to reinstall the entire game.
@@loveblanket6512 This cheap cash grab is forcing modders to continuously update their mods for an old game that is only still relevant because of modding. So another great Bethesda decision that "just works". Way to treat your customers, eh champ!?
"This world is incessantly magnificent" - Couldn't agree more, Inigo, especially with that grass mod. It's amazing how good this 8-year-old game can look.
That's the beauty of modding... Witcher 3 may look better than Skyrim, but it has nearly no modding scene. With enough time, modded Skyrim will surpass Witcher 3.
Let's face it, whenever Leonard fails "when he's supposed to," it always leads to some very hilariously entertaining narrative and actions. Appreciate the update on the work and planning you're putting into it for the next chapter, and certainly looking forward to it. Hey, maybe you could do a few more of these progress updates as you get things ready. Even just a run around looking things over and discussing the technical aspects of changes, while Inigo follows along and talks about his fleas is entertaining. Have a great one Gopher. Will be watching for anything related to the upcoming Chapter 4.
BTW, I'm 50+ and I find myself rambling on about stuff going on around me more and more often. I guess it's what we do and the younger ones out there have to look forward to themselves lol...
And poor Inigo at the back is like: "What is wrong with him?! He just started acting totally bizarre! Running around pointlessly... well, everywhere! Turning around in full circles over and over again, then suddenly gazing at the sky, at the distance, ground, plants... and not saying a word. Is it skooma? Oh, gods. It's skooma, isn't it...? Sigh..."
Cathedral Weathers and Seasons has just the right amount of elegance and drama which would surely be very pleasing to Leonard. Plenty of functionality and customization which Gopher fancies. :)
cathedral weather's is really nice. well, it is mostly based on obsidian, but that Misty/foggy (sombre) stuff is optional. and like in obsidian you can activate seasonal weather/climate change where it is colder/rainyer in Winters and more clear and warm in Summers the brightest/darkness overerall and in interiors and dungeons can be changed in-game with a convenient lesser power menu.
Good morning sir! Thanks for your channel! I have been subbed for a long time. You have helped me get through many tough times! It's a lot of us 40+ that love The Elder Scrolls! I got my husband watching too lololol. I'm using Vivid Weather's currently. I love it.
On the one hand, I feel bad that Gopher isn't getting a million views on his videos. But on the other, I'm glad that there are still some "Adults" playing games on TH-cam. Not everyone wants to watch a guy in pink hair pander to tweens. Some of us Old People enjoy things at a bit more sedate pace. Gopher, you definitely scratch that itch.
The newest version of Obsidian Weathers reduced the chance for rainy weathers which should help with your cloudy and misty complaint a bit. So if you want to stick with that weather mod I definitely recommend updating to the newest version. One thing you could also try to make the weathers a bit more diverse is to activate the seasonal weathers in the mod.
@gopher Really appreciate you making the extra effort for dealing with darkness in videos. Too often dark environments turn TH-cam videos into radio plays.
I haven't been subscribed to Gopher for more than a year and did not watch any Let's Plays for even longer than that. But I still come here every now and then to check out the rambling. Good chance to learn something new each time.
@@TheKazragore "Jeremy the Nord Tourist" is a reference to Richard chapter 2. Gopher was taking super nostalgic screenshots near a Netch and said his next playthrough would feature the above mentioned hypothetical character.
i feel like gopher puts some of the most effort in to his videos ive seen in a while, he has helped me mainly with skyrim and mods and holysh*t, if gopher didnt exist i would be soooo lost. Cheers Gopher and thank you for all the help!
A new weather mod called Cathedral Weathers and Seasons was released and it is insprired by Obsidian. Its not cloudy or misty the way Obsidian is. Its very customizable and there are options to make night time very clear but not as dark as NAT. Its very much worth a test atleast please consider it. Also consider RLO as a lighting mod. Its very good and fitting for your stealth play style in terms of shadows and ability to hide in said shadows
Just to add on to what you said there's also a mod that adds an MCM menu so you can tweak the settings using that instead of the power menu cathedral weathers comes with by default
"i'll try and stop the smooth turning to prevent you from getting dizzy....." proceeds to continue doing the smooth turns as he says he'll try and stop doing it. lol oh gopher.

My current weather mod is Rustic Weathers and is so far my absolute favourite weather mod. I feel most weather mods can look amazing in certain conditions and not so much in others, Rustic Weathers is in my opinion the most consistent weather mod across the board. You should also check out Natural View Tamriel ENB. I don't know if it adds fake light sources, but it looks great while still remaining faithful to the look and feel of the game. It's also compatible with pretty much any weather mod you can think of.
To my knowledge, Silent Horizons is the only ENB that would work for your requirements. It's the only ENB (...that I know of) which uses information from the game's imagespaces instead of totally overwriting them with its own stuff - which means that nighteye works fine and although shadows are sometimes darker than the game thinks they are, they are at least usually in the same places as it thinks. I can confirm it works with ELE/RLS/Obsidian, as that's what I'm using in my own game. (It also comes with a lot of presets - the default one, Kitsune Cut, is a little pinker than vanilla, but the 'Base' one corrects that IMO.) I think it would take a little tweaking to get it where you want it - you'd probably want to lighten the shadows a little, and it'd be useful to be able to get Predator Vision a little brighter than 100% to compensate for the ENB - but it would be much less hassle than most other ENBs. It's worth a look, at least. Afraid I can't help with weather mods, though. I keep meaning to try NAT, but I don't have much incentive to switch from Obsidian.
Like ENBs, Imagespaces themselves are also not tied into Skyrim's detection formula. So an ENB that respects imagespaces does not always mean it keeps sneak detection balanced...
Gotta say I really appreciate the effort gopher goes through to try and keep a good upload schedule and continuity in the various LPs And making everything nice for us viewers. Keep up the good work gopher we love ya.
Ohh this made me happy. I have taken to going back and rewatching Gopher Skyrim SE lets plays cause, Gopher, you make me laugh and oh how I need to laugh!
You could try out the mod "better dynamic snow" with the majestic mountains patch to make the snow blend a bit better with the snow on the mountains. Plus if you're using enhanced vanilla trees, I'd recommend the vurt's snowy trees option as well, it makes snow trees look much better imo.
The CC is why I stopped playing FO 4 and never played Skyrim: SE. I hate how Bethesda pretty much forced it down our throats whether we wanted the new content or not.
@@TheKazragore I would too, but I had some mods that required the latest version of F4SE so I had to dl all of the CC bs and the new F4SE before I could update them. I can understand microtransactions in Fallout 76 because servers cost money, but the CC is just a money grab aimed at PS 4 players.
@@gulfwulf3597 I don't remember exactly how right now since it's been a year since I used Fallout 4 last and I use LE Skyrim, but you can keep the game from auto downloading the CC stuff and just update the files needed (google 'removing creation club' or the like). Combine that with the above launch from F4SE option to only update when needed, and one of the various "CC Cleaner" mods that just strips away the Creation Club from the interface and you are good to go.
You can by using the F4SE launcher instead of the Steam one, but as I said, some of my mods required the latest version of F4SE when they updated with new features and/or bug fixes, so I was forced to download the CC crap regardless. Thanks for the advice, I just wish it applied to me. :(
For a weather mod, I would suggest Vivid Weather. I liked it while playing and you can configure how the nights will be via MCM. Never switched back to Climates of Tamriel or Purity.
Please make this a life stream. I love watching you do stuff :D (does that sound odd? If it does I mean I enjoy watching all of your content ) Can’t wait for chapter 4 and love the mod talks :D

It is very simple and optimized; Cathedral weathers: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24791 Minimalist ENB: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24948 Since Lenny is going to college I would recommend either Immersive College of Winterhold or Obscure College: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17004 www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20514 And maybe add Lucien; A great follower for a mage(ish) playthough who even banters with Inigo. www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20035
Oh yeah btw, it says his Grass mod is a requirement but it really isnt. Although the grass mod is great aswell; www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21954
"Arcanum: A New age of Magic " a newer spell MOD. Its fantastic with some great story line in it! It would really fit your playtrough Gopher with Lenard. Specially since he "decided" to enroll into college :P
Weather Mod suggestion: Mythical Ages - weathers and lighting overhaul I like this one. I believe it makes the weather more clear than obsidian, (and quite realistic imo), on some of its settings. I also like the sun up and sun down times with this mod
For the College, I would suggest Immersive College of Winterhold. Works good for me, and it only makes minor changes, makes the College more like, well, a college. For a weather mod, I actually use Climates of Tamriel. It works well with True Storms. It does allow you to tweak the weather. I know it's not as new as some of the other mods, but I find it fairly stable and clean.
There has to be a mod that remasters the vampire trogglodite stuff you don't like. Roleplaying Leonard as a vampire that doesn't really enjoys being one but at the same time loves using those little nifty tricks that come with them could be interesting! I could swear that there's a mod called less messy castle volkihar or something along those lines and there is for sure a mod that changes the vampire transformation for the player ( not that you really have to use that mechanic anyways ).......Besides that Gopher, you never stop amazing me when it comes to being original in your content dispite how old this game is! You are an inspiration sir, please never change! :)
I'd love a stream with mod testing or just simple running around while rambling about Skyrim... I fondly remember the old streams with testing of Perkus Maximus and some big Dragon mod... I miss Skyrim again altogether. Sigh, where did I put my MO2?
I don't think he should install quickloot again. it feels kinda cheaty as it doesn't break invisibility while pickpocketing or looting (at least the last time I used it)
@@mrspecs4430 I've got a quick look mod for Oldrim and with my stealth character it's honestly a godsend that I can do some looting without breaking invisibility. It's just a quality of life thing.
Since you are now attending the mage's college, it'd be awesome to do a magic overhaul. Since he already used a fire spell early on to destroy that thieves guild knock-off group's flag, and clairvoyance on occasion, mastering a few quality-of-life and convenience spells seems very in character, even if he never fully overcomes his fear of destruction magic. It's clear that he is capable of using magic to some degree, once he realizes how convenient and self-serving magic can be I don't think it's out of character to become super badass at at least a few spells. I bet you could get through the college quest line without using much magic at all, something he would totally try to do, but that would make for a much less entertaining watch than if he freaked out every time he casts something! An illusion master seems very fitting. There is a "build-your-own spells" type mod (I forget what it's called) where you learn techniques and methods for how spells work and you can actually mix and match techniques to create unique spell effects. that'd be a very interesting thing to try out.
I would definitely suggest using NAT. Although there was a problem I had with the mod where all the characters in the game would have sort of a slight glowing effect during dusk and dawn which kind of bothered me, but aside from that the mod is superb. You can also adjust the night brightness via the "NAT - Options" spell and it also comes with it's own ENB on the mod page which, if I remember correctly, is rather subtle and sticks to the desired look of NAT.
Hey, I'd watch that stream. =P And I currently run with Vivid Weathers. Can't promise there aren't misty or foggy days, but there have been plenty where I'll step out of an inn and go, "It's so gorgeous out here..." and just be distracted by the clear skies and sunlight as I travel. Having skyBirds probably adds to it. Makes the game feel more alive when you're out in the middle of nowhere. Haven't really tweaked with the darkness of that one, but Vivid does have different sliders that include bloom, saturation, and the darkness of night.
Some ENBs allow you to choose which areas they control through the ENB control menu (you can tweak individual settings for interiors, dungeons, exterior daylight, exterior nightime, etc, or just toggle them on/off). On Oldrim I used NLVA (Dolomite weathers on SE - but I never tried it tho) which was really easy to tweak and didn't change the look and feel of the game too much.
If you want a college overhaul that isn't too big than magical college of winterhold is probably your best shot. It's probably the most practical one I've seen since it comes with a couple new crafting stations and it's one of the few mods that adds a spider scroll crafting station to skyrim.
OLD man wandering skyrim ..yea I could go for that .maybe consider doing it myself he he , and as for streaming it;. well YOU are GOPHER ! we ALL would watch it anyway.
EDIT: If you find the Soft Light screenshots to be a little too red-ish, disabling the ENB's AO reverts that, the ingame AO should be more than enough anyway :D Soft Light version of Photorealistic Tamriel. It’s very neutral (probably one of the most neutral ENB for Special Edition), it has fully working night vision(using it alongside Predator Vision, both NV and PV work). With all the effects (AO, DoF, Reflections, SubSurfaceScattering etc) turned on, it’s not the most performance friendly, but I’m on a GTX 970 here, I struggle to run vanilla SE maxed out already :D One thing to add: Disable the PostPassFilter. That adds a bit of a camera/fish eye vision and some other may unwanted post processing effects. Other than that, it’s compatible with almost any weather mod (you can change that in the ENB GUI whenever you may want to) and gives the game an overall really nice touch. Another suggestion would be Ruvaak Dahmaan, though I think that’s compatible only with Vivid Weathers. Other than that, it looks very neutral aswell (probably more neutral than PTR even) and offers great quality, though at the price of worse performance (again, shouldn’t be a problem for your 1080Ti). As for the weather mod, I’d suggest not changing it. I’ve heard others talk about how this could greatly impact the game’s stability, especially in the long run. Haven’t done something like that myself, though I’d not risk too much, I don’t think that we’d want a Stiv 2.0 here.
I personally use Dolomite Weathers, it looks really nice and clean compared to most other weather mods I've seen on the nexus, just something about the lighting gives the game a crisper look, I also use dynavision to change the saturation a bit, it creates a really nice overall picture.
Gopher! With regards to the ENB, I'm currently using Natural Lighting Vivid Atmospherics, which is a weather mod/enb. It incorporates assets from Vivid Weathers, but uses only vanilla weather subrecords. (Meaning you could, in theory install another weather mod perhaps, but you're the expert). I've found it to be very nice, lightweight and customisable! Hope this helps
Hey Gopher, your Skyrim playthrough is great! Keep up the momentum. A couple suggestions on graphics mods if you're considering adding any new ones. The snow in your game needs some work. Noticing lots of mismatched snow textures and low rez stuff on the rocks in some of the videos. Personally, I like Real Ice and Snow combined with Better Dynamic Snow after trying out tons of snow mods. Also, at least try out a light weight ENB if for no other reason than for the subsurface scatttering effect. It makes the skin on your character and other NPCs look MUCH better.
Keep Obsidian Weather and add Wonders Off Weather and Mintys Lightning. My favorite ENB atm is Obsidian Weathers ENB Preset (mod 23393), it is very Natural and not fantasy. Use latest ENB v0.374 + ENB Helper. For light just Enhanced Light for ENB (ELE) and Relighting Skyrim. The effect when the characters are wet from rain is fantastic. Lightweight Water Overhaul is a very nice mod for water. This above with Vivid Landscapes makes my Skyrim look very Scandinavian and a bit more harsh than vanilla while keeping the artistic Skyrim hade so you still feel it Skyrim (No high fantasy here). I also use armor mods so people dont run around half naked in the cold. Atm i am fooling around with ”ENB Light” but that would prolly just cause you problem for recording.
I'm an ENB preset author and about to release a new weather aware preset (it will adjust to suit all 80 or so weather types in Obsidian and make skin, objects and ground shiney in the rain, for instance) which aims to be natural and similar to vanilla/obsidian regarding lighting. Unfortunately, as mentioned, it's specifically tuned for Obsidian. It does make exteriors a little clearer though by pushing back fog away from the player. The current published version is iiENB 2 which isn't weather aware. It shows the kind of colourful but natural look I'm going for (plenty of screen shots on the nexus page). I should have the new version out in a few days. Oh, it supports night eye. Most ENB presets do these days.
I am glad that Leonard is going to experience Winterhold Restored and also find Frostveil Mead Hall. He is going to get really excited about what that has to offer.
Gopher, if you were to at all consider an ENB, I recommend "The Truth," by Phinix. It fills all of your checkboxes, and, to boot, it doesn't crucify performance. I'm not sure how extensive you want your College of Winterhold overhaul to be, but I just installed "Obscure's College of Winterhold," and I love it. For me, it's just the right balance... adding a fresh coat of paint, and making the place feel magical, without going too far overboard. Oh, and had you live-streamed the video.... you'd still be running around randomly, getting lost, four hours later... :D
@Gopher You may want to check out "The Truth ENB": www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9162/ It's one of the lightness ENB I've found that also keeps a vanilla color pallet. It does darken the scene a bit, but this is tweak-able with the in-game controls. Nighteye is also tweak-able in-game.
Gopher you could try [Vanilla (ENB)] it doesn't change much, a little tweaking and it pulls back some of the fog. It is designed to work with obsidian weathers and it looks right up your alley.
Gopher, if your looking for a weather mod, I really suggest you have a look at Vivid Weathers. It may fit into what your looking for. And for the College of Winterhold overhaul, I would suggest Immersive College of Winterhold. For a third and final suggestion ........ Leaf Rest in Riverwood.
Ooh I get the flickering textures in Windhelm too! Interested to see what your load order is so I can do a little comparison to narrow down what might be causing it...
Definitely get college of winterhold overhaul, I started my first playtrough while ago and it makes the place really nice. Also Legacy of dragonborn v5 is coming out soon with major changes, unfortunately it needs fresh save so I won't be playing it for a long time. Better vampires is one of one really nice mod for me this playtrough, especially leveling up vanpirism and toggleable night vision. You feel more like vampire even in day because light is a bit more glaring, and you can actually play at night and in dungeons with dolomite weathers and elfx without light source. Some dungeons have more light, but some without any light sources are pitch black.
I haven't had a chance to really check it out yet, putting together a small test load order with it now actually, but the new Cathedral Weathers & Seasons mod sounds like it very much fits the bill you're looking for. It requires the use of Dyndolod, and is not designed to work with ENB's (unless the enb is specifically mod to work with it's weather system, and as of yet there aren't any). I have high hopes for it since I have seen some of the "Cathedral" texture packages over the past months that were pretty nice. My issue at the moment is that I'm new to setting up Dyndolod and not sure where to begin. I guess I could look up a youtube video perhaps? ;)
You can try Dolomite Weathers. www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7895 and True Storms Special Edition - Thunder Rain and Weather Redone www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2472 then combine them with Dolomite - TrueStorms Merged Compatibility SSE www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15044 followed by Seasons of Dolomite Nlva2 www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21546. Also add this Obsidian Mountain Fogs www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13539 to help with Z-fighting.
Yeah, I hated how every time I would go to play skyrim the game would update and the SKSE would be broken. As far as I can see when they do an update they aren't really fixing anything so I just go offline before starting skyrim.
For a potential ENB Silent Horizons might be the one, I personally use it on my sneak playthrough. It's not a super fantasy ENB where everything is super colourful, I works with Predator Vision though the effect may not be as apparent compared to previous chapters but as for the fake lights I honestly no idea I don't recall an experience where those lights screwed me over
Holy shit i was so stunned watching your "run around" With all that Mods, on PC, this Game looks so beautiful!!! After so many years O.o Incredible! And u are SO right....i want to be there and take a big breath of Mountain air there XD So real it looks...awesome...and i can't wait for Lennards next Chapter XD
There is a plugin for Obsidian: Aequinoctium Add-on Patch for Obsidian Weathers, this is absolutely perfect. It adds weathers from Aequinocticum and this fits quite perfect. I tried NAT a few times and allways go back to Obsidian (with the add-on ofc) because it just looks so much better :). I just stopped using SKSE due to the update problems.... very very sadly. Because I miss your HUD - Mod sooo much. But the update problems got on my nerves so much that I decided to not use SKSE anymore. If you want to have a look at Natural View Tamriel (NVT) it's for Obisidan Weathers. It is very natural (well it is in the name) doesn't change the look tooo much and supports night eye and the mod author is a very, very nice guy. :)
I've been using Mythical Ages for my current play through and love it. Running True Storms along with it and Obsidian Mountain fog/clouds. I tried Northern Saga weathers and seasons and found it too saturated in some places. I tried an ENB and it tanked my game performance, so no enb for me. I rather have a functioning game, even though it looked really good with the ENB.

Well, if Leonard wants a nice day in Skyrim then he might as well be shouting at the sky . . .
Me: Im gonna be productive today
Also me: Watches gopher run around the morthal swap for 15 minutes
And poor Inigo at the back is like: "What is wrong with him?! He just started acting totally bizarre! Running around pointlessly... well, everywhere! Turning around in full circles over and over again, then suddenly gazing at the sky, at the distance, ground, plants... and not saying a word. Is it skooma? Oh, gods. It's skooma, isn't it...? Sigh..."
Lol, I can so imagine this! "My friend, is there something we need to talk about?"
Kid: "Gopher?"
Gopher: " Not now, Braith... khm.. Sorry, Kid. What?"
Kid/Braith: "I wanted to ask you something. It's about an icecream..."
Cathedral Weathers and Seasons has just the right amount of elegance and drama which would surely be very pleasing to Leonard. Plenty of functionality and customization which Gopher fancies. :)
cathedral weather's is really nice. well, it is mostly based on obsidian, but that Misty/foggy (sombre) stuff is optional. and like in obsidian you can activate seasonal weather/climate change where it is colder/rainyer in Winters and more clear and warm in Summers
the brightest/darkness overerall and in interiors and dungeons can be changed in-game with a convenient lesser power menu.
Just wandering Skyrim - Jeremy the Nord Tourist is back.
You're absolutely spoiling us with so much Leonard at once. Already looking forward to it!
All my favorite names in a single title : Skyrim, Mods and ramble :D Best way to take my coffee break !
Oh thank the gods it's almost here. I've had awful Leonard withdrawal.
@gopher Really appreciate you making the extra effort for dealing with darkness in videos. Too often dark environments turn TH-cam videos into radio plays.
"Maybe I'll install an overhaul. Nothing major"
I can't wait for chapter 4.Damn I miss Inigo. YES. Inigo
Pity we'll have to wait for Chapter 5 to get Inigo v3.
Just another reason to despise the 'Creation Club'...
15 minutes of Mod Ramble from the main man himself. YES!
I haven't been subscribed to Gopher for more than a year and did not watch any Let's Plays for even longer than that. But I still come here every now and then to check out the rambling. Good chance to learn something new each time.
If you made that livestream and called it "Jeremy the Nord Tourist" we all would show up :)
Jeremy because his music would be playing in the background the whole time?
@@TheKazragore "Jeremy the Nord Tourist" is a reference to Richard chapter 2. Gopher was taking super nostalgic screenshots near a Netch and said his next playthrough would feature the above mentioned hypothetical character.
@@herald0fmanwe Gotta be honest I forgot that.
i feel like gopher puts some of the most effort in to his videos ive seen in a while, he has helped me mainly with skyrim and mods and holysh*t, if gopher didnt exist i would be soooo lost.
Whoa, that's an excellent recommendation! Good thinking.
I second this, Cathedral is spicy
"i'll try and stop the smooth turning to prevent you from getting dizzy....." proceeds to continue doing the smooth turns as he says he'll try and stop doing it. lol oh gopher.
Sorry. I just go into auto-pilot on these test runs :)
Me - So what are you gonna do in the easter...??
B - family stuff...vecations
C - eat a fuckton off stuff
A - yeah..me too ima gonna get drunk in all kinds off pubs xD
Gopher - ima gonna sort out my Skyrim load order xD
Me - i ....you WOT o.0 ??
I mean... people would watch that livestream. I'd tune in for a while, at least lol
So would I:)
As much as I love Gopher, it is really hard to concentrate on what he is saying when you hear Inigo say, "My fleas love this moist environment." LOL.
I wonder if the kids know that their dad is the greatest gamer and person in the world
People would watch that stream! You should stream it Gopher.
Yeah a really chill stream where Gopher just walks around Skyrim would absolutely get viewers.
I'd watch it.
I can't wait thank you sir so looking forward to chapter 4 . YES well side note gopher you have mentioned doing a tourist play through lol
(It also comes with a lot of presets - the default one, Kitsune Cut, is a little pinker than vanilla, but the 'Base' one corrects that IMO.)
I think it would take a little tweaking to get it where you want it - you'd probably want to lighten the shadows a little, and it'd be useful to be able to get Predator Vision a little brighter than 100% to compensate for the ENB - but it would be much less hassle than most other ENBs.
So excited for chapter 4! Currently re-watching the series in preparation! I also may or may not be playing along...
And now it’s...
Springtime for Leonard and Tamriel
Skyrim is happy and gay!
We’re marching right on course
Look out, here comes Inigo’s horse!
Ohh this made me happy. I have taken to going back and rewatching Gopher Skyrim SE lets plays cause, Gopher, you make me laugh and oh how I need to laugh!
Gopher, thank you again for this Let's Play. It's one of the large driving forces behind me getting into the game again.
I just disabled automatic updates for Fallout 4 and I launch it via F4SE so I don't ever have to deal with the CC updates. It's great.
If it does I mean I enjoy watching all of your content )
Can’t wait for chapter 4 and love the mod talks :D
Check out Johnywangs weathermod and the ENB specialised for it. It is very simple and optimized;
Cathedral weathers: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24791
Minimalist ENB: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24948
Since Lenny is going to college I would recommend either Immersive College of Winterhold or Obscure College:
www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17004
www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20514
And maybe add Lucien; A great follower for a mage(ish) playthough who even banters with Inigo.
www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20035
Oh yeah btw, it says his Grass mod is a requirement but it really isnt. Although the grass mod is great aswell;
www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21954
I would watch you live stream wandering Skyrim for HOURS. It is very relaxing, actually.
"Arcanum: A New age of Magic " a newer spell MOD. Its fantastic with some great story line in it! It would really fit your playtrough Gopher with Lenard. Specially since he "decided" to enroll into college :P
Weather Mod suggestion: Mythical Ages - weathers and lighting overhaul
I like this one. I believe it makes the weather more clear than obsidian, (and quite realistic imo), on some of its settings. I also like the sun up and sun down times with this mod
Middle-aged man watching middle-aged man site seeing in Skyrim live stream. Just my speed Lord Gopher. Yes Please. :D
Heh eh heh heh. He's working on his "load" order.... "Calm Down, Beavis"!
Gopher, don't forget to take a look at your weapon mods that were adding copies of weapons to the same location as Legacy of the Dragonborn.
QuickLoot should be for the latest version btw, it's called QuickLootRE iirc.
I don't think he should install quickloot again. it feels kinda cheaty as it doesn't break invisibility while pickpocketing or looting
(at least the last time I used it)
@@mrspecs4430 You can disable it for pickpocketing. Not sure about looting while invisible.
@@mrspecs4430 that may have been quick loot SE QuickLootRE is different and it doesn't have those problems
@@mrspecs4430 quicklootre breaks invisibility when you loot
@Gopher maybe that's why Leonard does the Mage guild questline! He wants to learn weather magic to always make it sunny or dark depending on his mood!
By all means stream as you wish. You know if people show up to watch you digging up sand, we will show up for almost everything else. 😄💖
I miss his building the lava tower. ♡
Do the sightseeing livestream! You know your audience well enough to know that we want it.
I would totally watch a live stream of Gohper rant.
Hey, I'd watch that stream. =P
And I currently run with Vivid Weathers.
I would've watched that livestream...
Ah, joke's on you Gopher, people will watch that stream and thank you for it! Feel free to diss us youngsters, "old man" ;P
Vivid weathers is a good weather mod
OLD man wandering skyrim ..yea I could go for that .maybe consider doing it myself he he , and as for streaming it;. well YOU are GOPHER ! we ALL would watch it anyway.
Glitch sorted! Word of warning.... 'CBP Physics' doesn't like the updated SKSE64 so had to disable it. V__V
EDIT: If you find the Soft Light screenshots to be a little too red-ish, disabling the ENB's AO reverts that, the ingame AO should be more than enough anyway :D
Soft Light version of Photorealistic Tamriel. It’s very neutral (probably one of the most neutral ENB for Special Edition), it has fully working night vision(using it alongside Predator Vision, both NV and PV work). With all the effects (AO, DoF, Reflections, SubSurfaceScattering etc) turned on, it’s not the most performance friendly, but I’m on a GTX 970 here, I struggle to run vanilla SE maxed out already :D
One thing to add: Disable the PostPassFilter.
Newly released Cathedral Weathers is based on obsidian, it's absolutely gorgeous. Adds volumetric lighting.
A fine line between 'sightseeing' and adventuring...
Very good news! oh my god what i missed this let's play.
@Gopher You may want to check out "The Truth ENB": www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9162/
It's one of the lightness ENB I've found that also keeps a vanilla color pallet.
Will you be adding in Castle Volkihar Redux?
Oh yes, so hyped, pumped and excited!

No you're not. You're running around a bloody swamp.
How did Gopher know what I was thinking?!
Looool
Gopher... You Nerd!... - love it!.. thanks for all You do :-)
