I am having trouble with my 2018 Honda CRV EX-L. I noticed the turbo wasn't making the normal whistle sound it normally makes, instead it sounded slightly different, rattling/buzzing. Within 2-3 days I was driving up a hill and my engine lost about 50% of its power and all the dash lights came on and started making loud sputtering noises. The 3 codes are all related to the Turbo. The engine (at idle) sounds fine. My question, is it worth to replace the turbo or has it already ruined my engine by possible sending metal parts/shavings into the motor?
Love the video. I have a honda accord sport 2019 146, 000 miles. Different warning lights start coming on the dashboard. Took it to the dealer and they told me that I need a new turbo $2200.00 to fix it. My question is: is it worth to fix it? how many more mile, do you think would last. I have seen on youtube that a Blown Head Gasket on this engine will be next?. Would you fix it or would you get rid of it.?
I just replaced the turbo on mine but the code P0046 came up with the engine light and I tried to deleted with the scanner and it did but it comes back right away, what do u think it will be the problem?
Doing a job for an accord 1.5 but can’t find the turbo anywhere looks like this one. But I look 2018 accord 1.5 turbocharger and the civic 1.5 turbo pulls up. Are they the same ?

Did u scan for codes?

How do u know if its the turbo that is blown but has no oil leaking or any sounds that would be off.but only can quarter way put foot of throttle
Well u will not have preformance or codes or u gotta take it apart to se if it’s blown

Lotta milages but if I keeping the car yes fix it send it to abs moduel repair service on ebay search it they charge $250

I would try this disconnect the solenoid for pressure see if it pops same code.

@@fisherbrown903 the main reason it failed was the wastage selnoid arms got okay but customer wanted 100% new and guarantee. This car has 136k miles
