Water Dealers don't often clean the bottle inside they just refill . We often see green algae inside the bottles. Such negligency is unacceptable. Concern authority needs to take robust action. As always Kudos to #Hornbill TV.

That's good. Even if packaged water is clean enough to drink, RO water is not good for our health in the long run, because they remove natural Calcium and Magnesium from the water.
Drinking boiled water sometimes will definitely help to keep your body healthy.

Plastic pipe and syntax storage is against bis norms. Only steel pipe and steel water storage tank is mandatory for package drinking water.

No wonder non of the water plant possess BIS or Fssai license in Dimapur.
If I weren't mistaken, once I saw the delivery people refilling in the vehicle. Are the delivery guys refilling impure water from other source for extra money. Sharing just a tought.

I also worked as a bio chemist in one of the factory.. what we do is..after all the process is done plus filling in the jar...each jar is observed under bright light to detect any dirt or germs before dispatching or keeping it for distributing...if it's not clear then the particular jar of water is thrown...but I think this days the worker don't do prior check of the jar water before dispatch

I think the machine has nothing to do with the insects or the worms inside. The main problem must be from the workers/labours who do not clean the 20 litres jars properly during the process of filling up the water in the jars. Just my assumption.

Mr reporter, since you have gone to the factory ,you could have shown storage tanks that they have mentioned. Besides the larvae issue, in my opinion the water factories should not be allowed to operate in residential areas.

i have been saying this for a long time now, packaged water is not clean no matter how many filtering and cleaning process they go through, you can stilll see dirt floating
Blaming water supplier is empty vessel we should complaint the head of department Food and safety to step down with him/her post. They are enjoying their salary without doing their duty. Why they are appoint as a government? If the owner of supplier is doing without concern department without license they have power to seal but what they are taken step?
Hello NLTV i've faces the same this too we buy water and drink too mine was quite different, the water which i bought consistet of small particles white in colours and it was type of jelly jelly small particles .I think the water supply comes from DC court dimapur area. kindly look forward

Professionalism is something we Naga's still lack and finding cheap ways to run businesses disregarding safety and health is normal for us. Tomorrow we will see the usual non local "owner". 90% of the people depends on this jar water so the demand is so high that too at this hot summer season , so i guess the workers should be more careful in cleaning and refilling the jars 🙏

Water treatment require a lot of stern process to remain its purity . Reverse Osmosis (Ro) would not kill the organisms, it requires Ultra violet passing and most importantly disinfectant using chlorine or any other disinfectant is required with a specifc dose are per indian standard code .sadly, that isnt followed
Maybe they dnt clean the empty water bottle before refilling the bottle which came from the consumer.... Most of the consumers dnt close the bottle cap after use so there is a chance of mosquito breeding since thr is a small amount of water left inside.
