Butt sb Like you, my 12-year-old kid bowls quickly and bats primarily with a tape ball. When should I enroll him in a hardball academy? Also if you would like a colab with him he would be over the moon you could do a live online session with him :-)
You must ve gone bonkers mate. Butt doesn't bowl and also has nothing to do with tape ball circus. He was a classical opening batsman. And if your son is 12 and still hasn't touched the hard ball, I am afraid he has very little chance of cutting it. When we were 10 year old kids back in the mid 80s, we used to play hard ball at school on cement pitches.
