The special event not having any restrictions is kinda funny lmao. I had to rush it so I used a srt tomahawk x and ended up lapping twice after some pretty awful driving (the car is nearly impossible to handle anyway xD). Did it again in a C9 but still, kinda defeats the purpose not having any limits 😂
I used the following cars for each race and won in all of them: Alpine A110 Evo IX 918 C8 Corvette 787B The 6 star ticket gave me 1 mil CR, but I ain't complaining.
I’m disappointed that once again the “main race” does not have weather as a factor. Working out the appropriate strategy always adds interest waiting off the race is otherwise a bit of a cake walk.
I always do the weekly events in reverse order from fastest to slowest, so by the time I get to my last race I'm kinda just ready to be done and do things like run this week's 400 Sunday Cup with a 770pp Murcielago to make myself laugh
So far I've only done the final two races, using the 787B for the group C race, I found it to have much better pace with my driving style then the group C Porsche. And for the Tokyo race I am adjusting my tune on the R32 nismo GTR. So far I can get second place but you are absolutely right The top two cars are flying with jetpacks but it's pretty fun to keep adjusting the PP and tuning so I can keep getting faster and faster until I catch both of those guys.
This is second week running that the garbage career/AI model has been front and foremost. Meaning: in most of the parades (I refuse to call them races) one car scampers off to a quarter lap lead, and the parade is simply finding the right car/tune to chase down that one car. Rest of the field are just pointless obstacles to weave through. Has been like this since original GT on PS1. PD seem unwilling or unable to move past this nonsense.
Yea I wish the AI would be more random and unpredictable, the HyperCard parade (no pun off your comment) is a decent race how the Aston Martin Valkyrie gets behind and has to catch up to duel the player at the end.
European Sunday Cup 400: Porsche 911 GT3RS (992) ‘22 Japanese Clubman Cup 550: Toyota Supra RZ ‘97 Hypercar Parade: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) ‘09 The World Group C Racing Championship Special Event: Toyota TS030 Hybrid ‘12
Also the lack of actual class/car restrictions - if it was forced to be a genuine Group C race that'd be better, but as it stands you could just use a RBX2019 or formula car - or even a Tomahawk and obliterate the AI on Spa's straights, no matter how ugly the rest of your lap is.
The group c events this week was amazing. My car of choice was the Mazda 787 b. Won the race. But the thrill of the speed racing with cars actually in class was simply superb. Only thing disappointing is why the Puegoet WM P88 isn't in Hagerty. The fastest of all time in the LeMans world. But not available for use in the game. But in the game!?
There's a planned change to Sport Mode regarding how your driver rating is measured for January 22nd. It could be a hint of when the update releases...
Race 1 1965 Mini Race 2. Toyota Prius Race 3. 97Supra RZ Race 4. Toyota MR2 Race 5 Lexus Vision Concept Easy wins except for race 4 where you chase down a Huracan
These weekly event videos have become a part of my Friday morning watch, always great along with your additional videos.
Hope you feeling better Naff, good to see you back so soon!
Glad you are uploading, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks for doing these! Your like me, trying different cars that you would normally not use to make it more of a challenge.

Thanks for the info! Hope your recovery is quick.

thanks'. definitely using the Porsche 962 tomorrow to do the last race. good tip dude
I used the Valkyrie for myself because there was the AI using the Aston Martin Valkyrie in Event 3: Hypercar Parade, massively a cheating AI.
The RE Amemiya and the front 3 in my WTC 600 were running 2.12s. Which was too much for me
ty
For the 600pp I used the raddical. Went very easy. Full stock .
I used the BMW M3 2015

Worst part of the game
European Sunday Cup 400:
Porsche 911 GT3RS (992) ‘22
Japanese Clubman Cup 550:
Toyota Supra RZ ‘97
Hypercar Parade:
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) ‘09
The World Group C Racing Championship Special Event:
Toyota TS030 Hybrid ‘12
Thanks, nice to have them listed, cheers
I love these special events, but I kinda hate them, too. No fuel consumption/tire wear takes away the fun of it...

I cheated and did it in the tomahawk. Lapped everyone up to p3 😂😂😂 in the group c challenge

Could you share some tuning tricks on these legendary group C cars at 800pp? These cars are probably used in most of times. Thanks!
Are you on a wheel?
When's the update gonna come out?

Any idea when they will change the physics back to its original ?
If i3 is properly tuned, it’s actually pretty fun to throw around. 😊😊
Any idea when next update is, that beings the F1 car?
hello there
i cant afford any gr1/c cars 😭😭😭
You only need to go around Spa 60 minutes once or twice depending on the car, try grinding more or selling cars you don’t like or need.
Just use f1 cars
