    Thank you msmithstud, They only spent the first honeymoon night at the ranch house. It was used as a fun place to ride horses and get away. It is just a few miles frome Graceland. They could go and come ten times a day if they wonted to. Thanks again for being interested.. Jerry

    I was never a fan of Elvis music/style. But that boy loved and honored his parents and I had tremendous respect and admiration for him for that.

    I've been watching this series and learning a lot. I didn't know Elvis was a rancher at heart. I like to think that Elvis and Priscilla were happy for a time. Thank you Jerry.

      I've never seen the ranch up close, so this is wonderful footage.

  • @connierivera7018
    @connierivera7018 11 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I believe the 'G' at Circle G Ranch was named for his mother ''Gladys" and not for 'Graceland' as you claimed in video No. 4. Could you please clarify?

  • @karendixon401
    @karendixon401 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Priscilla...Cilla...had in her movie that they went to the Palm Springs house the first night...but who knows maybe they were here first because of the horse then later finished their honeymoon in Palm Springs...maybe kept some secrets for themselves. But she did say that her happiest times.. where she felt most like a real wife to Elvis.. was here because without the Graceland cook she cooked for Elvis herself and ran the place how she wanted.

    My Horn lake School bus stopped at the Ranch gate every morning and picked up a small girl that lived there. I believe she was a cousin to E, not sure. We lived south of the Ranch in the Manns Trailor Park.Later in Walls and later back to Manns Park. The gravel drive way is still there at 301 & Nail Rd, LOL 1968-69?

    it's hard to believe that after living in those Bel Air/Beverly Hills mansions & Graceland he could go to living in that little ranch house.

    • @resa.walters
      @resa.walters ปีที่แล้ว

      They had a house in Bel Air, don't think it was more than one.
      I don't think was considered a mansion, though.
      They also had a property in palm springs which they might have been rented, or bought, I'm not sure.
      I think it was bought, and later sold.
      I was under the impression that that's where they spent their honeymoon night.
