Appreciate the suggestion. I don't have the Soundboks pro and don't intend on getting it. I've already done a video comparing the Everse 8 with the S1Pro. Everse 8 is in another league! Thanks for your support!
I definitely agree great, great little mixer. I have had one since late 2016 or early 2017 and carried it in my gear bag as a spare each and every gig we've ever done including one we did today. I would have no problem using it as a main mixer but lack of the monitor output was the issue. Running a balanced TRS to XLR cable into a powered speaker never worked properly but running it into my IEM system did work...weird. The balanced TRS to XLR cable that didn't work is the same exact cable I used for the monitor output on my mg10XU and now on my Allen & Heath cq-18t.
Hello sir, good afternoon. Newbee here on mixer world! Haha... since I've been looking for a yamaha mixer to buy, your video convince me to go for this model. Thank you for your advise..❤
I had a 20% off coupon from Musician's Friend and my wallet out, but I realized the 31lbs and large size put it out of the portable PA world for me. My back will thank me! 18 lbs Everse 8 is probably loud enough for me :)
For aux/monitor out, I use the headphone jack to a powered speaker. I use the PHONES pot to adjust the monitor volume, separate from the master out.
I do exactly the same! And I thought it was my discovery!
Bill, you’ve got to do a sound comparison with the Soundboks pro / Go, everse 8 and s1 pro and your channel will blow up! Great content.. love it.

Yamaha Preamps are excellent with great reputation, 64dB gain! In comparison new Mackie ProFx V3 has 60dB gain.
Completely agree. I own the 6 and the 10 and use both daily
