You are so welcome! To create the design I just simply used some graph paper I had on hand and traced out a couple of options. I ultimately went with the easiest as you can see.

This looks really beautiful! I like the clean lines you are a bit of a perfectionist I can tell.🙂

Thanks! I actually drew this design out myself, first on a piece of graph paper and then onto the wall.

Hi love it!! When you taped out the starting parallel long lines with tape how many feet apart were the lines? I noticed there was some thick rows and some more narrow. Which part of the mud cloth design should have a wider row?

Mfab44 The arrows on either end were exactly 2ft wide sections. I then taped out 1ft for the s like lines and then did another 2ft for the straight lines but with the tape counted in the 2ft, that way I was left with 2ft in the middle for the diagonal lines. The straight lines were only 1ft long. I just marked the center point of the section and measured from there. I hope that helps!

OMG I LOVE THIS! I would love to do this, but I think I'd make a mess! I just found you while doing a mudcloth design search and I'm SO GLAD! You do beautiful work! So......I'm assuming you used your computer right? But..... how did you come up with the designs and the program to make up the design papers? Are they designs you created then used a program to make the graphs? I'm just confused as to what I would do to get those graphs?! Would you be so kind and tell me how I should go about this? I'd be eternally grateful! Ppl loo

Sorry to get back to you so late. I actually just sketched this out on some graph paper that I had on hand. I used each square as a reference for one foot.
