Schladming, part of the Ski amadé region, boasts an impressive 230 kilometres of pistes, with a variety catering to all skill levels: 94 kilometres for beginners, 120 kilometres for intermediate skiers, and 16 kilometres for the experts. The resort has 77 modern lifts, including 30 chair lifts and 12 cable cars. This review will analyse The largest continuous ski area in Schladming, the 4 mountains. The mountains are Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm. Schladming Four Mountains ski area boasts one hundred and twenty-three kilometres of slopes, of which 37% are blue, 55% red and 8% black. There are also 4 km of ski routes. They are served by 47 ski lifts.
The highest point is Hauser Kaibling Peak at 2015 meters. The lowest point is Schladming at 745 meters.
There are 2 snowparks here: one in Reiteralm and another in Planai.
Next to the snowpark in Planai you can find ski movie section where cameras will record your race with the time. You can later download the video for free. At the same area in Planai, you will also find children nursery and fun slopes. There are other fun slopes in Hause Kaibling near slope 8, and next to Gipfelbahn- Hochwurzen gondola base station parking and skibus station. There are other children's areas in Reiteralm and in Hauser Kaibling, near the base of the gondola. The ski area is teeming with special attractions. There are also many mountain restaurants here.
Schladming, a lively town, is rich in history and charm. With its pedestrianised main street, and array of shops, bars, and restaurants, the town offers a perfect blend of traditional Austrian ambience and modern amenities. Schladming is not as charmful as the famous Tirolian ski resorts, but it is reachable by train and easy to drive to.

number 3 which can be a great warm-up for intermediates
On Reit eralm mountain, we recommend Holzer red run (number 5 on the ski map).
More Gentle is Reiteralm red run (number 2 on the ski map) which has some good restaurants on the way like Eiskerhütte and Hochalm. Reiteralm Pichl red run (number 2a on the ski map)
we recommend FIS World Cup red run(number 31 on the ski map)
we recommend the women FIS World-Cup run. Red number 2 on the map.
The most famous ski run in Schladming is the men's FIS World-Cup(red number 1 on the map)
Panorama run (black 7 on the ski map) as well as the black Oshtang ski route ( dashed black number 9 on the ski map).
    Apres Ski and Nightlife
There are many on-mountain apres ski bars in Schladming Like Tauernalm, near the Hochwurzen Gipfelbahn base, Hochalm in Reiteralm or Almrausch Planai, near the Fastenberg 6 seater top station.
Basically, Every valley run will end with some umbrella bars or bigger bars like the Alm-arena A near the valley station of Hauser Kaibling gondola, but undoubtedly, the Centre of the mayhem is around the Planai 1 gondola base, where the men and women FIS World-Cup slopes end. You can find here the apres ski bar of your taste, like Plazhirsch alm for example, but the best Apres ski bar in Schladming, is definitely the Hohenhaus Tenne. This is the largest apres ski bar in Austria. Maybe in the world. It has 3 big floors and a huge outdoor terrace. This place doesn’t stop at dinner time like most bars. The party here continues all the way to the morning!
Regarding nightlife, you can find here a venue for every type of sinner, but again, your best shot will be the Hohenhaus Tenne. The church area, is the nightlife hub in Schladming. You can find here the Cultclub if you want to dance, or La porta, if you want to have a cocktail night with your mates, but don’t come with expectations for a real nightlife scene in Schladming.
