You're away from the noise but close enough to immerse yourself in it if you want to! I like how the restaurants are separate from the hotel, kinda like Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu! I am old enough to remember the Lucky Lady days. Amazing transformation and the entire area is now almost unrecognizable. I can see that it has a more human scale and a comfortable feel. Definitely a must try location for a new experience in Vegas!
Back when it was Lady Luck and no Fremont Experience, this casino was considered out of the way, just like The Western. I remember gambling there and the car they were giving away was a DeLorian. That dated myself! LOL
Love the DT Grand. Stayed there during covid and had a suite in one of the older towers and it was awesome. Only had one other group on our floor. Even during covid we had a blast. Stating downtown is super convenient and pricing is really good
Looks great. Definitely a place to stay if you want to stay downtown but have some peace and quiet. Have stayed downtown a few times but it can be very loud and noisy at night on Freemont St. I remember when it used to be Lady Luck Hotel and Casino in the 1990s.

Great place to stay if you are someone that's already done the Strip a few times before and are just going to Vegas to stay up late gambling and drinking and maybe visit a Steakhouse one night. The rooms are solid and affordable, it's in a good location downtown near all of the action but a few blocks away from the noise of Fremont street and right across from the Mob Museum. It's a good value and the table limits are very reasonable. And it has a solid pool area for downtown. It's not fancy but they keep the place up well and offers good gambling at reasonable limits. Vegas could use a few more places like this.
Stayed there twice, and going back in April. It really is the last good value place left in Las Vegas. My only small complaint is that the $1 blackjack usually only has one table and to try and get on it is difficult.

Definitely go to the Mob Museum. You can spend a significant amount of time there and chronicles the history of Las Vegas really well, too. 10/10.
