I've listened to the whole 2011 "Giles Corey" album. By far, The Haunting Presence is my favorite song from the album because of all the noise, the shrieking voices, the agony... Damn, it's so powerful!
I definitely don't think deathconsciousness would've been the same thing if it was produced "properly", the lofi sound adds so much to the over all atmosphere.
