The queen treated Wallace Simpson like a dog, no one went to her wedding, yet if it were not for Wallace, the queen might not have been queen. I must say in my view Wallace were more of royalty than, Camilla, or Anne or any of the royal children. She was ery elegant and sofisicated
Wasn’t she upset with Wallace and her uncle because she blamed them for putting that stress on her dad? he didn’t want to be king, and she partly blamed them for his early death. Yes she got to be queen out of it all, but she also lost her dad, who she was close to.

Absolutely hearsay you have commented on and even contradicted yourself a few times, regarding HM treatment of the Duke & Duchess of Windsor you’ll find that she was very fond of her Uncle David and treated the Duchess with great benevolence after his death. It was the Queen Mother who treated both with contempt and believed their actions shortened her Husbands, the Kings life.

The royal family are Germans; George I, II, III, IV, V, Edward VII and their wives were ALL Germans, Bertie (George VI) was the only one who married a Scottish woman, the Queen went on to marry a Danish-German (Phillip).
