What I learned from the video. Apparently, some people, instead of saying, "I'm browsing the internet", say "I'm updating my browser". Also, people obviously update Windows every day, sometimes several times a day. More seriously: the software was not updated, this is data supplied to the software that was updated. Falcon's updates have absolutely nothing to do with Windows updates.

please answer this question - the developer who put this faulty code worldwide must have the same faulty code on his own computer, and presumably had to reboot his machine to enable that code - why was the blue screen not detected on his own computer - or since the code was automatically installed, why did it not affect computers around the developer or even in Microsoft during development or even during initial upgrade activities, much before the general worldwide upgrade?

In any software company, there should be a robust series of tests before any release. A bug of this size should have been detected before being released to the general public. That's a professional thing to do. Obviously, Crowdstrike didn't test their code on a real environment before releasing it. And finally, Microsoft, who is dispatching the code to all computers as part of the automatic updates, should be responsible for what they release. You can't say, it's not me, it's them. Microsoft should also be testing their crap before releasing it to everyone. No one tested anything. Utter incompetence.

Just create a dummy system which is build as real time system but in small scale of 50 users like that and do a trail run on it

Am an IT layman...but as mentioned...before any updates .... where did testing & debugging happen.... there are virtual environments/ sandbox etc to check it out... then y oh why... as the saying goes... ur as strong as ur weakest link.... we have the giant MICROSHAFT & CROW STRIKE.... complete joke..... end of the day u can still get stuck at the airports even if all else is ok.....
