Stop drafting Alabama quarterbacks.
Hey Tua Is Doing Alright
Whenever He Wakes Up! 😂
Thank u took the words out my mouth
@@broncosstampede494 sleeping tua still better than Nix
or put young QBs in better position
Does Jalen Hurts count? He did play for Alabama and started until they played in the national championship game against Georgia. He was replaced in the second half by Tua Tungaviola and won the game. He then transferred to Oklahoma lol 😂
Put this squarely on the owner. I heard the GM didn’t want Bryce Young.
The last coach never wanted Bryce it was supposed to be CJ Stroud
I agree that Carolina owner Tepper is the guy that overrode everyone.GM wanted CJ and I do agree that Carolina would been better with CJ
Any QB would fail in this garbage of a franchise. This is all on David Tepper 🤦
@@justice85151Don’t make it like Carolina is Trash 🗑️. Look what’s happened to the Giants. Or look at the Jets from last season. Both are bad for many years. Bryce is looking like Zach Wilson and Danial Jones. Don’t make this like you guys are the only worse place.
@@justice85151 💯 he’s a bum.
That Rick Speilman Draft Analysis on Bryce Young was BRUTAL
Rick can't scout or draft QBs to save his life. He never has. This coming from a Vikings fan.
Ricks better at scouting linemen than QBs
Rick was not wrong about bryce at the collegiate level. Check your hindsight bias. This is my humble opinion
The same media that's laughing is the same media that was freaking swinging off the guy's jockstrap at the combine and during the draft
Pete Prisco never rated Bryce very highly. Its why hes gloating so much.
He had both Levis and Richardson above Bryce
I don’t care what Pete Prisco has to say about anything football.
But it's true.
He's blunt, negative, but is he wrong?
@@PhilAndersonOutside I just don't care what he has to say. He's too bias to offer fair general media coverage.
Bryce isn't good but feel bad for him because he never had a chance with that franchise
You could put him on KC or SF and he'd still blow games. He is useless at the NFL level and will never amount to anything he's simply a bust.
Bryce had a whole lot bigger chance at Carolina than he would have had at any other team. The owner picked Bryce and he went out of his way to make Bryce a success. It didn't work.
@@dokedoker3340 you can't convince me a 5 foot nothing 160 pound frail qb who isn't even fast can play at the NFL level.
@@dokedoker3340 LMAO...you can't be serious
He would have failed anywhere. He's not an NFL QB. He'll struggle in the UFL.
You people are insane.
Alabama's team is so good, Bryce had every advantage. Their team is men among boys in college ball. Alabama QBs don't have to be pro quality to thrive in their system.
And who were Bryce Youngs receivers in 2022? You wanna know who Strouds receivers were? Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Jason Smith-Njigba
Not the worst trade but the worst pick. They could have had CJ Stroud.
CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson would fail with this organization just pathetic ownership
Carolina is definitely the worst team in the NFL. CJ Stroud would have fixed that though. And Anthony Richardson wouldn't help any NFL team. He's not a NFL quarterback. Hell of an athlete but not an NFL quarterback.
@@rollandmorrow1311no
@@DavidPierce-fn5vy yes
@rollandmorrow1311 it a team sport. Houston has been building their team through the watson trade. Cj was there at the right time. Carolina needs to build their roster and not draft a qb unless they have a roster
My immediate question when I heard they were drafting a 5'10" 175lb QB at #1 overall was "are they even trying to win?". Only an idiot would consider making a move like that. I think Rick Spielman should find a new job
Kyler Murray is nearly identical in size to Young, but he's also a word class athlete with a cannon of an arm for his size. Knowing that Bryce Young does not possess those athletic gifts, the Panthers should have passed on him.
The trade would have been amazing had they drafted CJ Stroud, a franchise QB for 10+ years. So the problem was listening to the media instead of picking the right guy. We might see this again from this draft, Daniels over Caleb?
Daniels, Bo and Caleb look MID AF!!
Maybe JJ, Penix or Drake will be the true QB1 of 2024 Draft.
I know the network won't call out an owner for how they run their team, but there were reports that Tepper made an executive decision to trade up to get Bryce Young, resulting in the Panthers missing on Caleb Williams and Stroud. He also now has a reputation for firing coaches way too prematurely (especially given the state of the roster), so hes not going to attract any good coaches now. Until the NFL steps in and forces a sale, the Panthers are going to be stuck at the bottom.
Most people have no idea how the NFL works. Tepper has almost doubled the value of the franchise since taking over, regardless of how poorly the team performs he makes money. He couod be tanking to get the team moved, but Tepper is not leaving the Panthers
@@haroldsfishingadventures754The Panthers have a stadium agreement until the 2040's
Dave should get out before he gets fired. Bryce is too small he was never Kyler or Pat. CJ was always better especially after that Georgia game. Sad situation.
What's glaringly obvious is Spielman doesn't know the first thing about evaluating NFL talent. And CBS is actually paying this doofus?
I don't know if I'd say the trade for Bryce Young will go down as the worst, but definitely one of the worst. In my opinion, the Browns trading for Deshaun Watson will be the all-time worst trade in NFL history.
At least the Browns are still kinda good. The Panthers are the worst team in the league
Not true Watson is at least competitive.
Watson 6-2 last 8 games
Tough to judge right now. Who knows if Watson gets suspended again?
@@fsshue8657 It's just allegations at this point. It could be true, but also the chick could be lying.
One of the worst trades in NFL history
One of the biggest draft busts in NFL history
Bryce Young couldn't win in the UFL
Bryce will be CFL in two years
Bryce isn't good by CFL starting standards imo.
Such a stupid comment! How many CFL QBs win by making bad throws?
@@purplesprigs Buddy are you dumb you think CFL teams are not give him flyer lol they gave Manziel a shot! How dumb are you it’s CFL
Passing on CJ is the biggest mistake this franchise ever made.
I disagree. Trading all those assets for 1 player. Nobody is worth it. Not even mahomes
Can you guys make up your mind! Last week it was the Watson to Cleveland trade that was the worst ever. This week its the Panthers trade to get Bryce. How bout we play Solomon and split the baby in half!
That's how Media is now if day. They're competing in who can have the most ridiculous takes
Oh its still very much Cleveland....... I think that franchise has that record by a mile......
It's still too early with Bryce Young. He's only in year two and the Panthers gutted the team around him. He's not performing well, but it isn't all him. You trade his top target and expect him to perform at an elite level? That's unrealistic and delusional. In another system, with better support, Young could perform significantly better.
these are the same analyst that said bryce was god's gift to football smh .. changing tune so quick .. lol
Brock Purdy drafted last and Bryce Young drafted first, how can so many scouts, "experts" be so off about QBs these days (including the Niners w/ Lance)? It's becoming exceedingly rare for a team to hit on a 1st round QB.
Mitch Trubisky, Zach Wilson, Carson Wentz, Josh Rosen, Tre Lance. All those guys were taken very high in the draft. Look at them all now.
My worst trade in fantasy football was trading for Peyton Hillis as a Chiefs fan. I don't even remember who I gave up but I got absolutely fleeced. I couldn't imagine how bad Panthers fans feel.
Trust Me Panthers Fans...I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!! 😢 🧡💙🧡💙
Uhhh no, us the raiders hold that no.1 spot lol with Jamarcus Russel. I will never forget his out of shape a$$. He sucked so bad that we preferred to pay him not to play.
Jamarcus wasnt trying his best and had poor work ethic
Bryce was trying his best and still sucked
You mean the worst draft pick
There's been an average of 5 qbs picked in each of the last 10 NFL drafts, still there is not 32 starting qbs currently available to play.
This is going to be a long season
Media acting like they didn’t hype him up over Stroud and Levis in the first place.
Bryce Young looks like he cries after the game
The Watson trade is worse, especially if he gets benched or ‘‘injured’’ before the end of the season.
If I was a top recruit quarterback and wanted to succeed in the NFL, I would go to a second tier school like Purdue or Arizona. Start four years. Really develop my game under tough conditions. But guys like Caleb and Young play with the best offensive lines and receivers. They get 6 to 10 seconds to find an open receiver. Heck, LSU had receivers drafted in the first round! In the pros, you need to get rid of the ball in under 3 seconds. Now there are exceptions. CJ Stroud was one of the exceptions. After the Peach Bowl against Georgia, you knew CJ was going to be successful. He was essentially playing against NFL players (future). His performance at that level was outstanding.
Nobody wants to hold the coaches accountable.
I wonder if this shows how good Trevor Lawrence is given that he went to a bad situation and did "ok" instead of failing totally
Being a Buffalo fan since 1964, I know first hand how bad football teams grind young QBs into dust.
it might be top 2 in worst "trade ups". Ryan Leaf was a trade up and they paid a big price just to move up 1 slot too as they already had the 3rd overall pick.
CBS, ESPN, NBC are all way out of line concerning this young man's integrity and athletics. Have respect and cover the news with some respect. Bottom line we need a new owner
Funny that Chris Weinke also played on the Panthers
Arch Manning will never go to Carolina, just like his uncle Eli didn’t go to San Diego when he was drafted 2004.
In his defense, what QB WOULD be good in Carolina? They ass! 😂🤣🤣
laughed right to that old dude's face and basically looked him in dead in the eyes and said "where is your god now"
He needs to be on a different team and in a better system; look at Fields at Pittsburgh
he's usless he can't run like fields has 0 feild vision due to being born a dwarf. And his arm isn't a top 20 arm in the league. He's useless and shouldn't even get a backup job.
Yea look at him still sucks ass😂
He's gonna be the next Geno Smith! You just got to wait 8 more years.
My man got paid (4years guaranteed ). Run for the hills Bryce..😂. A bag without the worry of concussions.. That’s a W
No free agents are gonna want to go anywhere near this team also
Bryce Young was set up for failure at the moment he got drafted to the Panther and gotten rid of talent over last couple years what the hell did they expect
After watching these guys laugh, I want Pryce Young to succeed and I’m not even a Panthers fan.
Rick Spielman should be remodeling bathrooms not talking about sports
Why did they even start him the last two weeks? It’s not like they didn’t see what was coming during training camp and the preseason.
Rick's eatin' good today!
Bust Young
All I know is I really want to play poker with the Panthers owner.
Not at all What 49ers did for Lance was waaaay worse. Watson trade is worse. Wilson trade is THE worst
Although the 49ers trade up for Lance was not the right QB it did not set the franchise back 3,4,5,6 years and they remained very competitive and reached SB's; plus they found their FQB a year later. The Browns lost 1 3\4 years of 5 with Watson out of the gate. Denver still sucks and looks to do so for another year or 2 at least.
The Panthers traded up for BY,gave away a lot of draft capital, and they still suck and have no future FQB on the roster right now nor will they be competitive for another 2 years minimum; thus the BY pick set them back at least 4 years.
Not Deshone Kizer catching strays in this video
Panther fan here, yes it was a bad trade, yes we set him up for failure, yes our team is bad, yes its hard to watch, yes I hate Tepper
Russell Wilson is so happy that he’s not number 1 anymore lol
Watson trade is worse, but this one might be up there.
Ima still stand behind our qb.
As I Panthers fan I want the Panthers to use those high picks to draft everything except QB next year. Make the roster better and then draft a QB the year after. But we have an impatient idiot owner so he will probably do the worst possible thing he could possibly do. 😂😂😂
Bryce Young > CBS audio
Trey lance or whatever his name is worst trade. Niners screwed that up
He was historically bad. The kid isn't cut out for the NFL. It's better to cut our losses now and see what the other guys on the yhe team can actually do with a competent QB.
After watching Stroud pick apart UGA in the peach bowl, still can't believe he didn't go ahead of Young. However, Young never stood a chance in Carolina. A fresh start with a new franchise may be what he needs. Just needs to go somewhere and be developed. Too much talent.
You mean he had too much talent around him that's why yall thought he was good. Bryce ain't talented at all
Nothing comes close to MN Vikes Hershel Walker trade. Thats the worst. The cowboys got 3 rings out of that trade. Now if the Bears gets 3 rings, then the conversation can start.
Herschel Walker trade , Watson trade are both worse
Uh, ever heard of a guy named Watson?
Call said that about the Russ Wilson trade man don't have nothing else to talk about
In the short term trade for Russell Wilson.
Not even close. Herschel Walker is by far the worst.
Soon as they said Frank Wright is going to the Panthers I said Bryce young is finished. He won't get the right development.
Hes just a bust
Forget the trade they passed on stroud!!!!!!!!! 😂
Cj stroud has entered the chat... lol
Nah....Herscel Walker anyone???
Everything must change nothing stays the same... The
Young become the old and mysteries unfold...🎶
Rock knows nothing about football
this is all on the owner bc everyone else wanted CJ
Thank you Panthers for passing on Stroud 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
🤘🏽😆🤘🏽
yeahhhh shut up
@@sillygoose635😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I mean its not like caleb is lightning it up 🤣
Only way to make up for the trade is for Carolina TO PLAY BY ALL YEAR. First pick guaranteed and redraft. They are hosing their future by making a change. Yikes
Russell Westbrook to the Denver broncos is worse
Watson trade then Young
Browns won last week cope 😢
You don't like 🍑?
@@440-fishermandrock8 no the Watson trade was stupid like his contract and he's a criminal
Bring him to Philly we will get him right
Dont fall for the sunk cost
This is why i only trust colorado QBS
Ricky Williams ?
Fairweather fans
Cj and caleb wow
Any one comparing a qb to mahomes needs to realize he spent a year behind a pro bowl qb who literally seen and went throught it all. Bryce was thrown to the wolves and any intangible he possesed was destroyed by that.
The bears fans think it was the best trade ever🎉
I agree, Bryce is too small. That's why he sucks. Bad investment.
Yeah all of them was off I knew stroud was the best option at number 1
r wilson trade to denver worst ever
Yes he is biggest bust ever!
Kid was domed from the start 🤦
Imagine coming from Alabama the most prestigious college football school in history and coming to the WORST ownership and organization arguably in all of American professional sports currently. I hope Bryce Young use this as a lesson and bounce back. I will say this situation is 5% on Bryce and 95% on organization. I think CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson both would be in the same situation if they had gotten drafted by Panthers. Bryce is being the scapegoat for David Tepper terrible reign of ownership.
The owner wanted Bryce to succeed. Bryce would not have lasted half a year anywhere else.
They are making a big mistake benching Bryce! He's a young quarterback on an average team whom they've invested a lot of money in. Tearing down his confidence is not a good move. Reminds me of Flores and Tua.
DEI bust
In youngs defense you cant judge him when he had almost no line and hardly any weapons at all. Id be angry too getting sacked 9 times a game.
daaaaammmn brutal
That’s only if the Bears quarterback ends up not being a bust. Also, I think the Panthers are just not a good team. I don’t think it really has anything to do with the quarterback but we’ll find that out very soon.
Get Young some tight end help where he can dump the ball off quickly and get those 10 to 15 yard gains
He was set up for failure has receiver core that the best receiver is old as dust and his o line is complete dog shit, any quarter back would fail in this laughter of an offense.
He’s a good Qb that teams sucks
LMAOOOOOOO
