I Can say owning these two and comparing to apple to apples, they have both different flavors. If I want a fast bike I’ll go with 2014, if I’m looking for smooth rides I’ll go with the 2016.hope it helps enjoy riding and be safe. Happy holidays

Both is close the 16 us more smoother ride compared to the older PP

The 2016 has better smooth engine, and better control
