I know you asked the commenter, not me, but I'd like to answer your question:) According to Islam, music is forbidden because it makes you enter the territory of man-made text versus the words of God (Allah (SWT)) But not all music is haram. Different type of music ranges from generally haram to strictly haram. Music can be listened to if it has 2 or less instruments used. Music that is strictly forbidden is music that can lead to temptation, bad thoughts and bad behaviour (for example: songs that can lead you to cuss, drink or party) But many Muslims still listen to music. Man are they royalty free cause if a producer uses this will you permit it. It's a sick extraction plus these kinda soft songs when are just sung without the music is like and icing on a cake as it gives the song more sadness and depth.
