Actually, makeup is totally collectible - it's just not useable past a certain point. But Lisa herself has an amazing collection of ancient and vintage makeup - that's where she gets a lot of her inspiration from! In fairness this palette is one I'd totally use, too!

Lancôme is my moms makeup brand. This is the first release that has truly excited me. I’m 52 so I’m into more subtle, blurred looks and this is perfect! Cannot wait to receive mine :)
Hi Rebecca! Thank you for featuring this new face palette. The embossing is beautiful, for sure. But this is a pass for me. I would have preferred a true face palette with: blush, highlighter, setting powder on the left, and 6 eye shades in smaller pans (2 mattes, 2 satins and 2 shimmers) on the right. With the embossing, it would have been more expensive to create, but more practical IMHO.
As a historian, that places emphasis on the earliest women rulers of the ancient world, this pallet is an absolute yes for me. I wanted it solely for collection purposes. But it’s is a much more beautiful pallet than I thought it would be, and now I want to actually use it too. Hmmm….do I need to order two of them? Do I need to get that crazy? If it was a Hypatia pallet it would be a no question of needing two.

I create accurate family trees for ancient Sumerian, Akkadian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Hittite, Ugaritic, etc… I basically do very nerdy things and people at for the material to put in books. I also run a social media ancient history page and group with close to a million followers. But I pretend I am a man, because unfortunately people don’t respond well to women historians…so I definitely relate to the frustrations of the intellectual women hidden in our distant past. And I hope I can make them a little bit proud.

Gorgeous. Could do w/out the highlighter. A bit pricey. Rather all shadows or a smaller highlighter and a small bronzer. Nobody will ever use all that highlighter.

Lovely soft yet impactful look you created! I'm probably going to get this because it's time to start dumping a few older palettes (I have a few that are 4 or 5 years old now) and I have shifted away from the heavy looks like from the PML era. This also being a Lisa Eldridge collab (her color nuances are genius) definitely caught my attention! And, what's not to love about that palette visually? I just used today. I didn’t like my look so I came back to how you did it. The green looked like a darker version of the CT green pop shot from last year. I overdid the green. Going to try your version next time. I love the highlighter!!!
Tried it again today. I can my stop the green from climbing above the crease. Any ideas? I just ordered the PML eye primer today to try that. Maybe too heavy of a hand with the green?

I was eyeing this , so pretty packaging and inside but I'm also eyeing Bobby Browns new cool toned pallet and the moonstone one their all around the same price and I haven't made up my mind which one cause I don't need all of them. Hi Rebecca! This is such a pretty palette! I had a glimpse of it recently, but never really pursued it because I like to see how a palette applies prior to purchasing it. So I’m glad I got to see your review first! I do use some Lancôme, including some of the Absolue line. The colors are quite impressive, especially that beautiful green shade. I will have to look into this!
Any word on if it's coming to the UK? It reminds me of several years ago when I would get super excited by really interesting collabs, e g. the Nars Man Ray collection. More of this sort of thing please!

Mostly because of the beautiful packaging, presentation and meaning, and also for that stunning green shade. I remember back in 2017 when I got Lisa Eldridge’s Lancôme limited edition goodies I think they called it Parisian apartment inspired or something. I got La Palette La Rose eyeshadow palette and kabuki brush, eye liner and lip stick. Not many people talked about that collection but I loved it and used it up. Oh the good old days… 😊 Remember that collection, darling?

Oh i am so excited for this review and only by you the master. I was worried that this palette wasnt on your radar. I used to be into Lancome many years ago but then gave it up because it just became boring to me. But this, I can totally get behind. The gorgeous packaging, the info, the color story. That is the exact shade of green ive been looking for. And subtle is what i like. And the highlighter. The best shade ive seen. Im not into the glowy disco ball look at my age. Yrs i have been to the Louvre on a very memorable Paris trip. And saw this in person. And your look is gorgeous as always. I cant stop gushing over everything about this. PS. Excited you are going to do that outrageously priced Chanel lipstick review. With that price point i wouldnt have blamed you at all if you had skipped it.

I love this palette and everything about it. I love art and history. It reminds me of my time in Paris 5 yes ago when I paid for a Louvre membership and went multiple times. I am a massive Lisa fan and she inspires me in many ways. The subject matter is incredible and empowering. This is a yes, especially after seeing your demo. I just need to wait for it to drop in Australia.

Wow, the fact that Lisa Eldridge was involved in that was a great find of yours! This looks like it meets my definition of "clean beauty" (no talc, fragrance, Teflon, aluminum powder or even synthetic colors), and it looks gorgeous, and I have had nothing but good experiences with Lisa Eldridge products, so I went ahead and ordered this one. This is a beautiful palette but very underwhelming there are a ton of eyeshadows like this on the market, I really don't like the sizes of these pans... it's just too much product and the applicators are also a huge no for me. I'm happy to see you enjoy it ❤

I'm probably going to get this because it's time to start dumping a few older palettes (I have a few that are 4 or 5 years old now) and I have shifted away from the heavy looks like from the PML era. This also being a Lisa Eldridge collab (her color nuances are genius) definitely caught my attention! And, what's not to love about that palette visually? It's stunning, along with the interesting history story.

I may have to get this. Hate to pay that much for 4 eyeshadows - I don't use highlighter, but when you put on that first color it was so beautiful. That would be a one and done for me. That green is also stunning. I'll have to see it in person to decide. Looked gorgeous on you.

I just used today. I didn’t like my look so I came back to how you did it. The green looked like a darker version of the CT green pop shot from last year. I overdid the green. Going to try your version next time. I love the highlighter!!!

Tried it again today. I can my stop the green from climbing above the crease. Any ideas? I just ordered the PML eye primer today to try that. Maybe too heavy of a hand with the green?

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes kinda I will so far we have floods here in Vegas right now we have high alert ⚠ certain areas are so severe they had to evacuated I'm in an area where it won't flood too harsh cause we are on south end of Vegas in Henderson side and we have a new flood gates open... ⛈️🤯😱💦 but we do have bad flooding from our storms were wicked and its coming back around for round #2 we are in a evacuated warning ⚠ little nervous 🥴 well keep you posted I'll send some 📸 photos in your email 📧 from our news 📰 I took pics where it was really bad it's a lake 🏜🏞

Hi Rebecca! This is such a pretty palette! I had a glimpse of it recently, but never really pursued it because I like to see how a palette applies prior to purchasing it. So I’m glad I got to see your review first! I do use some Lancôme, including some of the Absolue line. The colors are quite impressive, especially that beautiful green shade. I will have to look into this!

I remember back in 2017 when I got Lisa Eldridge’s Lancôme limited edition goodies I think they called it Parisian apartment inspired or something. I got La Palette La Rose eyeshadow palette and kabuki brush, eye liner and lip stick. Not many people talked about that collection but I loved it and used it up. Oh the good old days… 😊 Remember that collection, darling?

I love this palette and everything about it. I love art and history. It reminds me of my time in Paris 5 yes ago when I paid for a Louvre membership and went multiple times. I am a massive Lisa fan and she inspires me in many ways. The subject matter is incredible and empowering. This is a yes, especially after seeing your demo. I just need to wait for it to drop in Australia.

This looks like it meets my definition of "clean beauty" (no talc, fragrance, Teflon, aluminum powder or even synthetic colors), and it looks gorgeous, and I have had nothing but good experiences with Lisa Eldridge products, so I went ahead and ordered this one. $89?!?!? I see that many of your subscribers are loving this. But where is the transition shade? That highlighter will get dirty from any powder from that dark green over time. I expect more from Lisa Eldridge. I have several of her own palettes. And they anticipate multiple complete looks. So this ia a pass for me. I'm actually curious about the lipstick colors though.
