That dude is just not getting it. Freaking step with your punches dude. It's called hitting while moving. You have the privilege of training in Cuba where they are masters of footwork and you're just not absorbing his lessons. Take it slow if you need to cuz you need to RELAX

These people look like they've been taught to be relaxed all their life and have plenty of examples to learn from. It takes time to become natural. Also my knowledge of cuba is non existence but I get the impression music and dancing is a big part of the culture which would also be helpful.

You do know Cubans learned to box from the Russian/Soviet Union school of boxing. However Cubans being a total failures and underachievers in the pros and having glass jaws is very much a Cuban thing!

Pedro Rivera They run their boxing program in kinda like literal schools. Where they first learn footwork, balance, rhythm through a Cuban style of dance then they teach boxing in a school format. Similar to how Europe does soccer. Lots of countries do that w their sports even basketball but USA has people like lebron James they are just lucky lol

He will do it when he doesn't expect it, in sparring or a real fight. Learning but not realizing it
