I work in a hospital and camera are usually prohibited for filming or taking pictures, just for privacy reasons, that can be a huge thing. Just letting you know, the X-ray tech may think it's okay or I know we couldn't see her face, but it's a big privacy issue with staff information and patient information. Just an FYI, I work in the ER we have had some patients looks up staff on Facebook and stalk, take pictures, or film and that violates others patients' information or staff information, just examples of some issues of what has happened to in the past, but hope you feel better!

the filming thing is indeed a privacy thing + In stores or restaurant they also want to provent copying. ofcourse for you guys filming is the most normal thing in the world but that doesnt mean you're entiteld to film everything you want to film. People and owners of property and such should have a say in whether they get filmed or not. you guys dont have bad intentions or anything but strangers cant know that. try seeing it from there side. anyhow lovely vlog as always xoxo
As someone who works in customer service I can understand the no photos thing. I've had people come into the shop I work in and literally stick a camera in my face and take a photo of me in my uniform without asking if it's ok, which I think is a really shitty thing to do (I work in a well known coffee shop in a touristy area). I get that you guys don't film peoples' faces in your videos which obviously changes the situation, but these people don't know you're not trying to get footage of them! Just a thought! Love the vlogs!
I'm not here to criticise I'm a serious fan of you and Sammi and I really like that you've started vlogging too and I'm really looking forward to a video on your camera equipment. But like I can see why the supermarket worker didn't want you filming. Fine if you were filming yourself but one of the workers is in the shot too. If I was in work and someone had a camera sitting there recording me at the till I don't think I'd be comfortable with it either...

Charlotte Muckley yeah but she doesn't know that. If I was in work and someone left a camera down on the counter (whether it's policy or not) I wouldn't want someone filming me.

I could be wrong but in terms of filming within stores near a check out it could be a security issue because they don't know what you are filming and it could be you documenting how the tills etc function which could be a security risk?

I know it can be really annoying but there are laws which prohibit you from filming/taking photos in certain public places, especially shops and of people. It's a privacy thing like how in lots of museums etc you can't film. It's best to ask permission and explain its for personal use, so they dont think you're selling the footage etc. The law might be different for profit made from youtube though, I'm not sure :)

As a reality TV producer in the US, its so common for locations to moan about filming inside... we usually need location release forms/permits to film... When I vlog, I tend to go with "this is a home video."

hi,i had a neck op in august, what has helped me more than anything is acupuncture.

i was in a museum near London Bridge over the weekend. I was told i cannot use my g7x to take images but can use a iphone. i was flabbergasted.

I think some people say "you are not allowed to film" cause they dont want to be filmed themself! they dont realize that it would be much better to just say, like please dont film me? I honeslty dont like being in videos or photos of people i dont know, makes me feel very wierd xD
