This is absolutely incredible, the stages are pixel perfect, camera angles are the same, even the HUD was changed to match unleashed, everything is perfect.
@@Alexis-no4yj well, its not as exact, for example in that version of the hud mod the speedometer isnt working but someone managed to reverse engineer that for it to work and even make it so the rings float to the hud when collected like in unleashed

Honestly this could've been the perfect Modern Sonic gameplay. Mind-boggling speed, dynamic camera angles, technical high-speed sections, wide areas for boosting, that makes a perfect Sonic game imo. I wouldn't mind the game being automated in some areas because that kind of speed would be too hard to follow for some people.
48:10 see why couldn't we get level design like this in Forces? It's so complex! Also gentle reminder that all these levels combined take just under 2 hours to complete (almost the run time of Forces) and these are just the day stages.
It's even worse for forces because if you do everything at a near optimal level you can beat the entire game in about 1hr 1/2 which is absolutely disgusting compared to previous sonic games

As I watch this, I get the feeling Sega could remove the hog-wolf sections from Sonic Unleashed, rebrand it as "Sonic Grand/World Tour" and have a working title. Of course, this is something they should have done before Mario Odyssey came out, because you know someone would accuse Sega of once again being several steps behind Nintendo.
if sonic team decides to use the boost again, then they need to combine the best aspects from the past games. Unleashed has a great story and was more challenging compared to the other three. Colors level themes were completely original and very creative. Generations had the best game play and while it isn't the most challenging, the levels were fast, platform heavy, filled with many alternate paths, and overall has some of the best level design in the series. Forces has the hedgehog engine 2 which makes it look great (especially the death egg, city, and metropolis levels) and its better to continue improving of the hedgehog engine 2. Finally Forces has the avatar which was the best part of the game in terms of game-play and levels and gives us shadow showing that multiple playable characters can work in this formula.
The best thing about this, other than gameplay, and nostalgia, Is that it's Free! Plus, Where's Chip, and the Werehog? Are you planning on doing a separate video? Or is this what you meant in, _The Ultimate Unleashed Project_

Yeah, Jason Griffith was a unique VA for Sonic, he give to Sonic a special personality, he knowed how to make a "serious but funny" voice for Sonic, not like Ryan that sounded like a 11 years old kid going through puberty trying to sound like the JP Sonic voice in all of his lines or Roger that sounded like a adult-swim cartoon protagonist. Jason was the best Sonic, and nothing will change my mind.

We've already seen this. Now, I'm no modder, but it would be nice if someone was able to port in a way or another the Werehog gameplay and finally give us something else rather than seeing Apotos for the hundredth time.
All that is needed is for a developer to combine all of these packs into 1 hub world with the ability to go through all hub worlds just like in project sth2006 and add normal generations boss battles and rivals and all should be set.

Like honestly, I am so sick and tired of sega constantly ruining 3D sonic with the hybrid levels. We have classic sonic if we wanna play the levels in 2D, leave the 3D levels alone!!!!
