I have watched this bike check many times, this guy has a way of explaining things and the way he moves around makes it very entertaining... he has potentials to be a great sales man.
@@klassickingz9094 I'm 6'3". I stopped riding that frame and went with something with a longer rear end. 21.25"TT. street sweeper is 21". This is also a super old video lol
@@WasleySchultz lol okay jus got the streetsweeper in 20.75 TT im 5'9 & a half and thought it was to small for me. Well the rear end is very short. I was about to regret buying the 20.75 TT thinkin the 21 TT would fit me better. I guess i gotta get use to it
@@chadrides914 yeah sure they aren't needed, but you can say that about any advancement in bike parts. We didn't NEED lighter bikes, stronger frames, etc. Chain tensioners are a luxury and you definitely don't need them, but you make your life a hell of a lot easier and there is no real disadvantage to them. My point is why would you not run chain tensioners if your frame comes with them? Have you ever owned a frame with tensioners? I used to think the same way as you until I bought a frame with them and now I will never go back. With these big ass tires these days putting your wheel on can take way longer than it needs to if you don't have tensioners.
Andrew M I see a use for chain tensioners for guys running brakes. They would help center the wheel up perfectly between the pads. But no brakes I don’t see a use nor need for tensioners. Keep rolling man, and god bless 👊
Andrew M no need to resort to name calling. I am not retarded. I’ve got a two month old BONESAW, a 2018 Whammo, and a Seven Series. All newer frames with progressive geometry. I’m glad you like chain tensioners. This video of Jake Seeley not running his integrated tensioners ends this debate. I’m taking the high road and will let you go on to call other people retarded. If I offended yoU to the point of name calling that was never intended.
It’s just the stock guard that comes with the hub. If he’s riding the odyssey clutch it’s the stock hubguard that comes with it or Sunday cyclone it’s just the stock hub guard that comes with it
That’s a beautiful bike and looks strong as well I like the geometric in this frame and with those 15mm outset odyssey forks perfect 👌 combination for all the riders who love front wheel tricks and those bars are sick 👌👌👍🏽💯❤️
I realize this is a bike check and doesn't actually fucking matter but dudes fit is super atrocious. The high water hipster pants and the square ass overside Kanye shirt look weird together and are played out. But he's doing him and the bike is fucking sick, plus he knows his parts, so I'm still gonna like the vid, buy some Madera or Sunday parts and keep it movin

Looks like Jake be using metric Allen wrenches on those American size stem bolts 😆🤘

Super glue?
Artemcoss demons.
I'm still trying to figure that out.
Been rockin’ a street sweeper frame for a year and a half. LOVE my frame!
How tall are you bro?

I like how he actually explained each part. I want those tiures!
Why would you not run the chain tensioners?
Andrew M maybe they rattled out, mine did, but idk.
Andrew M because they simply aren’t needed. All I ride is street and I’ve never found myself wishing I had tensioners.

I’m about to buy a Sunday complete & Just switching my parts
Adam Schnellenbach I like your style 👌
Woah i didn't know @TheOldPotato was sponsored by Sunday and Madera.
Loved it so much I made my setup the same lmao
The stem is cool. If it was possible to cut in the unknown joy division logo instead of just straight lines it would be sick
his bike is goals
So the birdcages can handle that much abuse I was nervous to get it as a back rim
Melvin Morgan Most definitely man, these rims are solid and light AF
5:22 Didn't tell us what guard he use's on the none drive side of his cyclone freecoaster back wheel ?
PROBABLY THE SAME G SPORT UNIGUARD CUZ ITS SIMPLE TO GET IN THE BIKE ITSELF AND WELL... HE EXPLAINED hahaha

What the fuck is holding the bike up???
Oh that's a special jake feature that only comes with his bike Its called the stand alone geometry.
You got a bike that cost more than my car and you leave it outside in the rain..
I just don’t like how he’s trying to sell me it. I already have a bike and don’t want a new one.
One day you will and you’ll think of this bike check 🧙♂️
His shirt is too big and his pants are too short. It’s bugging the fuck out of me
Must be nice to have such minor things to concern yourself over.
Ugly bike tbh
