Your sister is so soft spoken, I think those nails turned out very beautifully. If I was able to get my nails done by you I would give you freedom to do whatever style you wanted. Love your videos. They have inspired me at the age of 51 to teach myself acrylic and nail art. I need to do something with my time as I'm registered disabled and unable to work. Trying to gain confidence enough to do family and friends. I'm still at a very basic stage but practicing daily. If you were closer I would love to do one of your face to face courses but at the moment will have to make do with videos. Want to be better at it for July when I get married to my childhood sweetheart. Please carry on inspiring with your art and personality. Xxx

Thank you for the convo about capping vs not capping with color! On the occasions that I actually do wear gel polish, I never know what looks better/ right. Now (since Kirsty is my #1 source of info on everything nails) I know!

I assume she must of seen another nail tech from naio nails lol I have unsubscribed from the channel now that you have your own ... Sometimes we don't realize we are selling are self short or sometimes situations aren't just right so we stay with what we have or where we're at and just the anxiety , change and stuff we also tend to stay to what we know Kirsty myself and my girls love your bubbliness and how u interact it's amazing I'm 15 yr nail tech .. but bein a Mum to 5 kiddos and a nurse . U inspire people that u can do it on your own God bless .. I live in the US (Massachusetts) and I have a hard time trying to order your products any idea why ... Can ppl from the US not purchase ... Ok those are cute but I have a question I have problems on my nails with lifting really bad even after dehydrating and bonding I have been told that I have oily nail beds. Is this actually a thing?
I think it depends on a few factors 🤔 for me: the thickness of the nail, and the colour of the acrylic underneath. This nail’s free edge was pleasingly thin, and it was a very pale nude without being totally opaque 🤔 If it was an opaque acrylic, and a thicker free edge, there would be an obvious disconnect ☺️ for example, if for some reason a tech used a white tip, that white tip might cause a huge contrast with the gel polish colour - then capping is essential. If the acrylic isn’t totally opaque, the gel polish colour peeks through a little and capping isn’t essential because the aesthetic difference is so tiny. Capping can cause a little of the colour to show underneath the very tip of the nail, and make the tip a tiny bit bulkier 🤓 It’s dealer’s choice really but if your free edge isn’t bulky, and your acrylic colour is a neutral tone with a bit of transparency, it doesn’t make much difference 🤓☺️
I wear very long nails for special social events and Fetish and Comic Con up to 4 inch (100mm)! Every day ons are 1 1/4 (3.3mm) since I need to be able to use computers! I don’t thing I could wear one like hers every day except on vacations!

Yes, I do as well. You double up on the dehydrator and primer but it burns bad and causes even more damage to my nails.
