Great video on the Mecum Vegas auction. Just watched Day tow and look for to seeing your coverage for Day 3. Sold some and bought some myself. Thanks for the coverage!
Watching from Ireland, saw a laverda jota at the show beautiful bike, there was a laverda dealer in Birmingham uk,back in the eighties and the jota was a very expensive bike rivalling the Norton commando at the time.they also made a 650 supersport too,I nearly purchased one but ended up with a Ducati 750 supersport .because of servicing and finding parts.laverda were seen as the rolls Royce of Italian bikes then.thanks for sharing the auction!couple of nice Indians at the show!
Thanks. As I said in one of her videos if I screw something up or get something wrong put it on the comments. I can’t go back and edit the video but at least I will know for next time and it will be there for other viewers.
...... the Katana 1000 doesn't have a pop up headlight, only the 750 had that. It's also not missing a side cover. That was how Target Design penned it. The NS400R was a road replica of the 3cylinder NSR500 grand prix bike, NO grand prix bikes need homologation as they are all prototypes unlike world superbikes.
You are correct, I didn’t mean pop up as in moving, just that it was a contrast between a wedge shape and a block shape. Thank you for the clarification on the side cover and NSR.
I watched your Wednesday vid and now Thursdays. I like your format, look a little, find a bike of interest, then follow it across the block. I’m still waiting for the first look at a Z1. Why you ask, because I own one. I don’t there is a man in America that paid less for a 90+% original Z1. Every year the prices just keep climbing, dragging me along with it. Even if I see $8000 my investment is seeing a 1600% return. Seriously I can lose. Bring on the $60k !!
Thanks for the compliment. I feel that way about a lot of bikes I own, I hold fast because I keep getting priced out and if I let it go I don’t know I would spend what it sells for. If you go to Mecum.com you can see the lot list. There is a fantastic 1973 Z1 slated for Saturday so I’ll make sure I film that. There is a 1975 z1 painted in 1973 colors today so I’ll get footage of it today. www.mecum.com/auctions/las-vegas-motorcycles-2024/lots/?auction%5B0%5D=Las%20Vegas%20Motorcycles%202024%7C1706054400%7C1706313600&configure%5Bfilters%5D=&configure%5BruleContexts%5D%5B0%5D=pin_items&hitsPerPage=48&q=z1&sortBy=wp_posts_lot_sort_order_asc
