Nice see a EW220 Have not seen a bigger one from Volvo than some EW180s.But in the 90s and early 2000s, the Åkerman EW230 was still quite popular around my area :)
Oh, that's interesting, I thought you would see all sizes of highly personalised wheeled diggers up there! The Akermans were amazing. I remember watching one of those for days when it was working near my house when I was a kid. Beautiful machines!
@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg No, it's interesting, I do not know if that was when that size disappeared for several years, but I think I see far fewer wheeled excavators here now than I did before. Is more common with crawler excavators But yes the Åkermans was fun to see in operation. I he get some in operation before became more unusual in any case
@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg Yes it is very likely so Then I know a machine owner who after Åkerman ordered both his CAT M318s with 4 support legs like material handling undercarriage. And could have dubbed all the legs in winter so that it stands firmly when he digs through the ground frost :) Because a lot of that is the type of job the larger wheeled excavators had here water pipe maintenance etc
Nice versatile machine, good find.
Yep, it's huge though.
@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg It looks big.
@@ConstructionMachineryChannel You don't seem to have many in the US, or have you just not got around to film any?
@@ConstructionChannelLuxembourg They are very rare here, if I did find one I would try to record it for sure.
All deen gudden Budem. An ech hunn just Lehm am Gaart.

That's a beast of a wheel excavator 😱🤟😎. It's look like the machine has dig assist too😊Great video by the way🤓👍
Thanks a lot! It's a huge beast, and it has all the options too!

@@bm1113 I guess it's impractically big for most roadside maintenance, cable laying, ditch digging, etc...
