Its less resource hungry.... so its a better choice when working with simulations like ROS gazebo. And we can easily upgrade at any point with awesome plugins.... so yeah... its still worth it.

Note: If you have code which requires the user to input text, Script doesn't work for that. To me, that makes Script extremely limited.

can someone help me please i follow the steps and everything works except when i run it it says like this "Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases." I tried to go to settings and disable the App Installer of Python because that is the only python that was there and i got more error. What should I do? Can someone please answer me I'm using windows 10 32-bit. Thank you

OK just in case someone experienced the same issue I go through if you get an error running the packages and can't figure how to solve it just uninstall python and installed again but make a custom installation just right this tutorial told us, JUST FOLLOW THE TUTORIAL FROM THE START and you will be fine

Im trying to run python in atom and make a 2d game and i need the script package, but when i go and look for it it doesnt show up then i looked it up and i "registered as default atom:// protocal handler" and even after going to the site to download it from there it still gives me the message "failed to load script - try again later"

First you must know were python is installed, copy the direction, then in Atom clip packages-script-configure script, Its going to ask you "current working directory" paste python folder direction in the box. Thats all.

For productivity, there is no comparison. Maybe Atom is less power-hungry (though this is shown on Win10 so it's likely not a concern), but PyCharm is so helpful in so many ways that I could hardly use anything else. Jetbrains really nailed it w/r to IDE.

if you are using win 8 or 10nyou can download python (any version ) from the Microsoft store. this will erase the "Python not found " error.
