They just dropped teasers for SJ Returns 5, which will be available on their youtube channel. The previous seasons are now available for pay on weverse for new ELF. SS10 sometime next year with Heechul tentatively joining. D&E have been hitting up festivals and doing their new youtube show, Ryeowook is doing a musical and his new show on the Heydey channel, Kyu is doing Frankenstein musical again and has been more active on his channel, Shindong has been dropping spoilers and doing lots of youtube guesting. Siwon has been filming dramas which is probably why he has been partially absent for the comeback single, but he's got to clear his schedule before the tour starts so 🤷♀️.

The song will grab people's attention so that they hear about the other variety content. By the time the anniversary rolls around, hopefully they will be more engaged so that they get tour notifications. They don't want fans complaining that they didn't have time to save money or didn't know about SS10 until too late, especially if the global tour is going to be extensive. They don't have a huge fanbase everywhere either, so if they're including new stops (speculation) they'll want to increase interest.

I totally agree with you. I like the song enough, I’ll never not like anything SuJu puts out but I’m surprised by the view counts. Good for them on getting so many eyes on this latest mv. But it does make me scratch my head, for example Burn the Floor was such a good song & innovative music video but isn’t talked about or has gotten enough views in my opinion. He already confirmed that he's not doing the Halftime Asian tour. He is planning on joining SS10 next year, which is why he's doing physical training now. No guarantees because you never know, but that's the confirmed game plan as of now.
