Thank you very much sir! In our school there is no book of grammar and I needed to study adverb clause for my test, because of this video I scored good marks
Sir if there's a sentence like "Because no one was home, the thieves robbed the house" So here "no one" is the "subject" and "was" is the "verb" of the adverb clause?
Hey Ashish! I hope you are doing well. I just felt the need to point this out to you - at 8.13 of this video, there has been a slight error. On the screen is written "do not want = verbal phrase". Now we know that 'not ' is an adverb and its interrupting the verb phrase. So, the verbal phrase would be "do want". It might confuse the viewers. I am sure you might have already figured it out before. Good wishes!
Thank you for pointing it out. I explicitly stated in the video that 'not' interrupts it. So, the typing error wouldn't have confused the students. That said, I am glad you pointed it out. Keep learning!
The same difference that exists between a noun abd an adverb. A noun clause works as a noun: subject, object, subject complement, object of a preposition, and object complement Ab adverb clause modifies a verb and tells us WHY, WHEN, WHERE, & HOW an action takes place. Hope this helps, Pragna! :)
Hi I want to know if these sentences are right after putting subordinating conjugations to make them adverb clouses. Please help. 1. I just lent Bob some money for lunch even though he never paid me back my last loan. 2. I asked Susan to manage the office while I am gone because I know that I can depend on her. 3. Sam will pass the course only if he studies.
I have some sentences which I have to combine them into one sentence and put and make them into adverb clouses with putting subordinating conjugations but don't know which one do I use in these sentences. 1. Bill went to the party. He had an exam the next day. 2.I need to improve my grades. I will start taking more notes in class. 3. Jack hates going to the dentist. He should see his dentist soon. He has a very bad toothache.

There's no context given. The question doesn't make any sense. And no, it can't be an adverb clause as it starts with a subordinating conjunction.

Can Adverb clauses be placed at the beginning of the sentence
Absolutely.
Examples:-
• Since I was busy, I didn't pick up your call
• Though he is super rich, he lives in a small house.

One has the subject verb combination, and the other doesn't.
