Yes, they are mesmerizing. But, they are trying to communicate something a little more deep.

He was an emotional wreck. He walked away. If V walks, JK goes with him. JK brought V back. In the 2018 MMA awards, you see Jin "thank" JK for keeping the group together and V lost it. Pretty obvious, V is not sure he wants to be there.
