@Texas Mud Drags I know. Where I live (Newfoundland, Canada) we have one drag strip. It is a relatively new 1/8 mile. For years we drag raced on repurposed air strips that were barely acceptable, but we had no alternatives. So you'd think mud (or dirt) drags would have been a thing. Always lots of people into fast cars and jacked up trucks. Car shows were and are still popular. Yet nobody bothered to make mud drags an event. It many asphalt strips around, but God knows we have lots of places to do mud drags. Maybe if a few people built a few rigs and found a place it would grow into something. Might be worth looking in to.

They don’t have the space they have a drainage canal at the end. Not enough shut down area for a longer pit here
You'd think mud drags would be way more popular due to not needing a 1/2 mile of smooth,flat and straight pavement to race on. More fun to watch too.
