I had the honor of speaking with Chris Dingman, the family spokesperson of Riley in this interview.
University of Missouri student Riley Strain has been missing since 8 March.
The 22-year-old was partying with his fraternity brothers in Nashville when he was kicked out of a bar and became separated from his friends.
After a fruitless search, the friends reported Mr Strain missing, kicking off a now week-long search for the college student.
Police have found no evidence of foul play in Mr Strain’s disappearance. Ground and air search efforts are ongoing. A police helicopter searched the immediate area around downtown Nashville, including a river bank where Mr Strain allegedly wandered near. Investigators using boats on the Cumberland River have found no trace of Mr Strain.

I was drugged at a bar when i was in my twenties, i was so messed up i went to my car and locked the doors and passed out and woke up hours later and then drove home. This is exactly how i walked when drugged up. I was very disoriented.

Been there, done that ... Ended up with a fat lip and had to get staples to close the gash in my head. Never again! Y'all want to scold everyone but Riley. It is risky to go into a crowded city and engage in such activities as bar hopping. Generally ppl make it home, but it is not uncommon for some not to .... Especially during spring break. The world is not his keeper and it would be foolish to get involved no matter how innocent they seem ... At best, call 911 but in these cities, such calls won't necessarily be priority generally for valid reasons. Teach your grown children the dangers of these activities and to be self aware and self responsible. Riley was not taking care of anyone else either .... Not even himself. That is on him. (And no .... Does NOT mean I believe he deserved it .... But neither do other ppl need to hear you scolding us for not risking our own well being for strangers engaging in risky behaviors/activities).
If that's the area people flock to for Spring break and the locals are desensitized to the party culture, law enforcement or volunteers should be posted in the vicinity of bars, to monitor situations like this and HELP.@@fireice7773

This was completely preventable, they should have never left him alone. What kind of "friends" do that?? And I don't want to hear that bullshit story about how they weren't allowed to leave, one could have stayed to pay and the rest went with Riley to wait just outside or even vice versa! I am totally blaming the frat brothers, I'm sorry, but that's just how it is, they made the choice to let him wander out on his own in that condition. It's SO wrong of them.

The frat brothers lied. They said Riley was taken out the back, but the bar had video footage that Riley was taking out the front with one of the frat brothers, who then turned around and went back in the bar.

My son was drugged at a bar, he was on a works night out, after his 2nd drink he didnt feel great and wandered into the mens toilets, he literally slid down the wall, he couldn't stand and could hardly speak. Luckliy a work colleague noticed he'd left his drink and had not come back from the mens room. Long story short, his mate got him in a cab and he managed to ring me from the cab, he wS scared. Me and my husband got an ambulance bwcause he literally couldn't stand. The hospital confirmed hed been drugged and ivd him to clear the drugs out of his system. They said they see it all of the time but its hard to prove who does it to you. He believed it was a work colleague who had done it but couldn't prove it. That was over 14 years ago and it still get shivers thinking how much worse it could have been. My heart goes out to the whole family 🙏💕🎉

I myself an elderly, could not set back and hear this story air and not get involved with my North Nashville community of seniors, if u see something say something, so I shared it with the seniors he missing, because being lost, looking for your focus can be a challenge for I was in that position in my early adult age. Many drugged drinks are by a group of people. Example: Bartender gives pill, bouncer sends them out, next person follows them for awhile and takes them. It’s a group effort…please be careful!!

@@beebeex7775 ive heard about this, ir something similar. Where its only happening to males, who leave a bar on foot. Missing for weeks or months at times, then found in odd positions in a body of water. Autopsies showing they had recently passed away, not de@d from the time they went missing. This has also occurred east coast to mid. This is unlikely related, but it did remind me of those other cases.

Apparently since this video... an actual police officer recorded Riley and he seemed fine and even talk to the officer... so I wonder if this was before falling and stumbling or after... I truly belive that card was implanted and video should be reviewed and people who appear in the area questioned

This young man was falling down drunk or drugged and very vulnerable. From the video on the streets Riley was in horrible shape and unable to make any decisions at all. He didn’t know where he was going. We live in very dangerous times.

Plus, it was said one of his fraternity brothers spiked his drink to make Riley look like a fool. Please look into that. I am unsure of this accusation.

That video was broken down by the mob crew he wasn't attacked, you can see him coming from the left behind the cars and cut between the cars in the parking lot, that was a couple holding hands they weren't involved

This is so sad. I think something was slipped into his drink. It’s infuriating that not one “friend” left with him and waited 16 hours to report him missing. Luke Bryan’s bar definitely have questions that need to be answered!!

So he passed one homeless camp under the first bridge, but didn't pass the 2nd homeless camp under the 2nd bridge. He disappeared and his phone went dead in a 50 yard space between the 2 bridges. I live in Nashville; EVERY bridge in that area has homeless people living in the crevasses under ALL the bridges, not just where the homeless camps are.
After 10 pm, across that bridge, bad people will come out, in cars, in gangs.
What do you think likely happened? I wonder what nefarious reasons someone would want with him, besides stealing money or something worth money?
@@jenninscho1980 Across the Cumberland River, the people wake up at 10 pm, go out smoking crack with guns. I would be killed on sight if I were there, and I know this. East Nashville is like South Central LA.
There was a report that a homeless 'person' was seen wearing Riley's 2 tone shirt. I have been roofied 3 times in Nashville, but not in the bars. I don't think he was drunk, I think he shows signs of roofies, and you have no idea what you're doing when roofied, and you wouldn't remember anything of the night for a decade.
The second half of a roofied time is the paralyzation. You literally have no control of your arms or legs, and you are a vegetable; can't move. If he didn't cross the bridge to the side of the river with the stadium, and he didn't pass the 2nd bridge, then someone might have added to his demise.
I think the Cajun Navy is going to discover his body way down river, in another state.
One psychic channel said camp & gang. Another one said he was beat up and taken in a car to other side of town and dumped in a scrap yard.

A couple of years ago in my city in the UK a young man (a fresher) he'd been at the uni for A WEEK! Went missing, they had camera footage of him leaving a club and walking towards the bridge to cross the river to the uni and the residential areas. His mum and dad came and they searched for 3 weeks! They found him a mile down the river. They said he'd gone to cross the river and possibly stopped for a wee, being a bit unsteady he fell in the dark and ended up in the river. It was such a shame. They have installed a lot more cameras since.
Quite a few years ago, my friend ordered a beer at an NYC bar. We both sipped on it, became disoriented, left and had to hold each other up to walk. We circled the block trying to walk the 3 blocks to our friend's apartment where we were staying but we kept ending up back at the bar we'd left until we finally ran into the friend who got us home. Our saving grace was sharing that drink. I can't emphasize enough, people, watch your drink like a hawk, watch the bartender make the drink, never accept a drink from a stranger, never leave your drink unattended. It's a shit reality that there are evil individuals who pick targets out there for whatever reason. There are immoral bartenders who will roofie drinks after being slipped cash. Lastly, it's not just adult beverages. It happened to another friend in a coffee shop in the daytime on a dating app meetup after drinking herbal tea. There are sadly predators in this world and situational awareness must be a laser focused priority every single time. My heart goes out to this family and I pray this beautiful young man is found safe and quickly💚🙏

This is one of the most impactful videos you can watch. Please start at 9 minutes and listen to what this man says. “Angels and heroes walk among us but it’s UP TO YOU to decide TO BE the hero or angel.” You “CHOOSE” to become one or miss your chance. Riley needed one but no one took their lifetime opportunity to BE THE ONE. I wonder how that will look when they cross to the other side. What if that is what we are here for “ DID YOU NOTICE YOUR OPPORTUNITY when you were given it.” Just to ask if someone is ok or keep them from stumbling down a sidewalk or calling the police to help them. Maybe that person would come upon you at some point and protect you from a bad situation. We have to be open to being an angel or hero when we feel and notice it presenting itself to us. I have done it many many times. And it’s something worth living for. Its gives you fulfillment. If only Riley had encountered one angel?? If only.

Happened to me. It was the scariest situation! Both my girlfriend and I were drugged. We luckily knew and called someone. I have since learned to NEVER leave my drink alone! If I have to go to the bathroom-i have a friend hold my drink. Girls and guys-pay attention!

My sister had gotten drugged by a bartender, she ended up walking around miami Beach she trippedand broke her front teeth. Police and hospital treated her like shit, like a druggie or alcoholic. They including bouncers need to be better trained in handling situations, even if just drunk, they are kicking out a severally vulnerable person!! So sad. I hope he's somehow found, as well as can be for whatever he has gone through!!

Years ago my fiancé and I were at a packed bar in the college town where we lived and we had both had one drink at the first bar. Then , at the next bar we sat down at a table and even before we could take a sip of our drinks, my fiancé started acting super weird and slumped out of it. It was to the point that the bouncer thought he was sloshed and kicked us out. I had to physically try to help him up off the chair he was like jello and just what I can only describe as floppy. It was super scary and somehow we made it to our apartment with me having to walk him slowly with his arm slung over my shoulder. Years later I always wondered if it was roofies that somehow ended up in his drink, maybe intended for someone else?

if he was in the water and there was a storm or lots of rain, he could be 50 miles away in a 12 to 24 hr time period. They need to search further than 14 miles and notify other counties along the river. prayers 😢

Following this story and praying. I was given a date rape drug at a local bar in 2003. A man I casually knew did it. I hadn’t even finished one beer! All of a sudden…I could barely walk! A friend took me home thankfully! Six weeks later, I am watching local news and this man and his mother had been arrested for manufacturing the date rape drug! They both went to prison. It’s so important to stay close to people you REALLY know when out in a bar!

The videos from the bars should be able to find when someone put something in his drink. They should watch the water he got also

My son was spiked in Paris when he was 22.
He was with 2 friends male and female and had 2 drinks..but had been at another bar beforehand.He was dancing and vomitted and was thrown out.
It was an unknown area to him and he went to ATM and was redrawing cash when he was attacked from behind and beaten up and they ran off with the cash.
He was lucky and managed to get into a taxi and remembered where he lived.
Had no money to,pay the taxi but he got home and was lucky.
A flat mate asked him what he had taken?
He slept for 12 hrs and when he recovered didn’t want to believe he was spiked.
I’m praying hard that Riley is found soon.

Incidentally as soon as his 2 friends realised he was missing, they came out and he was gone.
One minute he was fine and next minute he was out of it.
There is a video on MOB and it truly appears to have caught someone....not sure if it is Riley but it has someone running on opposite side of road from cam. Please check it out.

@@kimlarsoGray Hughes Investigates on a live last night cleaned up the video of the guy running at 955 away from the direction of last ping. It's still hard to make who it is but someone definitely runs on to camera and then slows to a walk when a car drives by and continues to walk. I don't think it's Riley but possible suspect or witness.
The video itself I believe was dated same day I made post. It's on the channel MOB and this video is only about 7 minutes long.

@@dwallen2012 Everything you said is ABSOLUTELY TRUE. However he still has a head injury. Nobody knows how serious that injury is. Does he have amnesia??? If he does does he know he’s a finance student. He didn’t ask people around for help, Why??? Because his JUDGEMENT was impaired because he was intoxicated because he has a head injury because he’s in an unfamiliar place.
My ex and I were both drugged at a bar where I live in Cleveland Oh. We each drive our own car to the bar because we met up after we both got off work. Next thing i know, I wake up in my bed. I didn't remember leaving, driving, getting home, going upstairs to my room to sleep NOTHING!! I Woke 2 hrs after i passed out per my mom. She said i looked like a zombie when i got home, completely ignored her. She called my bf at tge time to see if i was on someone, he didnt answer. She even checked to c if i was still breathing. The same thing happened to him. Well less them a yr later the bar was raided, shut down for drugs, money laundering AND drugging their customers amonst other things. We were blown away. When i was talking to my friend a few weeks later, she just happened to mention this bar tgat she would never go to because her friend use to bartend there and told her to never go there, that they drug their customers. I said to her my god i wish we would of known because we would of never had gone there!! They r lucky no one ever died!

Bars need to be a bit more responsible when they kick out college kids to the curb when they’re drunk. The bar should be held accountable because they should’ve made sure this kid made it home
