One day, after nomming down some dinner and avoiding that Fanum tax, my little sis and I were vibing in Mr. Gopher Wood's yard, when we peeped a lil baby Charmony Dove all alone like a Sigma. That bebe bird was super smol, like not even fully feathered, and it couldn't even drop a beat. When we found its skibidi self, it was basically about to yeet from this world, having fallen into a shrub and probs ditched by its parents. We decided to build a cozy lil nest for the rizzless bird right then and there. However, looking back, that winter was like Ohio levels of cold, with fierce mogging winds at night in the yard, not to mention all the sus bugs and wild NPCs around... It was clear that if we left the fledgling outside in the Ohio yard, it had zero chance of surviving until the next skibidi season. So, I suggested we take it inside, place it on the streaming shelf by the window, and asked the adults to rig a cage up for it. We decided that when it finished its mewing arc and had enough rizz to spread its wings, we'd let it vibe back into the wild. The tragic skibi - something we'd never edged - was that this birb's fate was lowkey set long before this moment, fr... Its destiny was yeeted by our skibidi whims. Now, I pass the rizz powers to you all. Faced with this sigma moment, what rizz move would you make? Stick to the OG skibidi, and build a nest with soft drip where the Skibidi Dove fell? Or build a rizz cage for it, and feed it, giving it the utmost giga-chad care within the warmth of a skibidi home? I eagerly await your sigma answer.
Sunday definitely looks strong, but I want to still play super break and have it be strong, so I am skipping early 3.0. I feel that summons are gonna be great, but they are trying to burn our jades, so they probably hiding a team that will be later, which is why I want to get that later team and getting super break eidlons
Sunday is so pretty and looks awesome, but my brain is balking pretty hard at trying to adjust to a new meta, especially because very few of the 3.0 characters seemed immediately appealing to me. Also Aventurine decided to take a full 150 to come home and it's left me pretty stretched for pulls. I currently have e1 Firefly and getting her e2 feels like the best way I could future proof my account atm.
congrats on getting best boy! i think if you’re not too pressed about the 3.0 meta, yeah get E2 FF then try for fugue; though, do be aware that there’s always one or two characters that are big deals that aren’t immediately revealed to us until later ^-^ good luck on E2 FF!
Finally, someone to assist me in my confirmation bias. I honestly didn’t like Sunday (design, character, and in-story), but I got a feeling that he might be meta-defining going forward, and that Fugue might be a “remnant of a bygone era” of Pinecany. With this, I’ll reconsider my pulls.
I want one of my 2.0 teams to stay relevant, so I am going for an eidlon for firefly and fugue e0s1. I may do e2 firefly instead and wait for fugues rerun to get her. I definetly want to get fugues to e1 s1 before the end of 3.x
i just started star rail recently and i know it’s the responsible thing to pull sunday but man that SAM mech is way too cool for me to skip firefly especially after just finishing penacony

So thank you for suggesting I can do that. It really made my day. NB: I have E2S1 Firefly too. She’s my favourite character in the game, easily.
I will say it should be mentioned that Fugue is WAY better for Rappa and Boothill in comparison to Firefly because both of the former do way nicer with an extra break bar. In any case, she's great for all 3 of them at the end of the day.
As F2P, finally got a decent FU team this last month with pulling Aventurine and his LC to pair with Feixiao. So…probably plan on Sunday to future proof the account.
If Sunday end up being that good, we'll have a chance to pull him on a re-run a few patches from now. I'd rather pull a character that's good right now, than hope for future buffs, as they might come, or come in a super long time, or never come. Pulling characters is too big of a gamble to add the gamble of whether or not they get buffed in the future. Also I started the game several patches ago, and Firefly is my main goal. If I had her already, maybe I would've considered Sunday a tad more, but alas.
imo the pull priority is, Sunday = Fugue > Firefly > Jing Yuan if you’re using a summon team like me, of course Sunday is priority. likewise, a break team would want Fugue.
One thing I hate is getting baited by hoyo and Sunday look kinda sus, rememberenc is a path not a play style if they release a non crit servant or a sub dps servant Sunday became absolutely useless and if you remember 2.0 was a big bait. 🤔
Most 3.x DPS units scale with max hp. Sunday is just a scam. If you're still skeptical tho, just wait for a DPS that fully benefits from all of his buffs cause he'll absolutely have his rerun with that character.
I do not agree with not pulling Firefly without Ruan Mei as a Firefly user without Ruan Mei. She won’t be as good as she could be sure, but she’s still amazing in the amount of damage she can do, especially with HMC. I don’t think people will be super disappointed with her if they don’t have Ruan Mei.
I'm really torn between Sunday and Firefly because I do have Lingsha and want to build a break team but I am severely lacking in harmony units... (No Bronya Robin OR Ruan Mei somehow T_T) I only have about 30 pulls atm because I REALLY wanted Aventurine so now I'm broke and can't decide

Despite Sunday being "meta" i have 0 interest in him, or Firefly, so would Fugue slot in good for the Acheron team or am i better off waiting? I mainly want to save my SJ for The Herta/Aglaea lol

Depends on wich character you already have for Fugue to support. If you have Rappa or Acheron, then go for her. If not, and need a DPS, Firefly is the answer
@ I have Acheron E0S1 (and no Jiaoqui), and I might get Rappa on her rerun. But it seems like Firefly’s E2 is a big increase and she might not rerun again for a while. Not that FF needs extra damage right now at E1S1, but with the way the Hoyo winds are blowing I want to keep my break team as overpowered as possible.
@ they will eventually change the meta. And it’s already happening with the release of Sunday. It depends on how much are you interested on that. I would argue is better to have a new character that can fit in various teams instead of eidolonds but that’s just me
@@MatiasEzze Yeah, usually that’s my approach, FF is already the only limited 5* I have any eidolons for. The downside of more characters is that I end up with a lot of half-built characters with insufficiently farmed relics. But it’s certainly more fun to have more characters and more flexibility. I guess I’ll just wait and see how good Fugue actually ends up being after release and choose then.
I thought about it and most likely I'll skip whole 2.7 to prepare for 3.0 and beyond. Fugue simply doesn't do enough and they refuse to buff her before release. Her kit is underwhelming when you compare her to what you already have that is harmony MC. Which is a shame cuz I really like her. For Sunday I don't like or care for him so I refuse to have him on my account. Hopefully we'll see other alternatives for buffing summons pretty soon.

I have to disagree on Ruan Mei, though, I think her design and especially her animations are gorgeous. Also, she’s one of the few morally questionable playable characters in this game or Genshin that Hoyo has made no attempt to soften or make more likable, which I find interesting. She’s quietly dangerous rather than boring to me.

sunday is definitely gonna be tailored for 3.0 meta but im hesitant to pull for him becuase of the sparkle robin situation. Sparkle fell off quite exponentially and have had her bench for a long time now. Theres just this inkling possibility that theres gonna be a 3.0 ruan mei/robin situation. also cuz i have E1 firefly ;^)

Its sucks that all the best suports (Ruam Mei, Robin and now Sunday) are all so meh character wise
@@Truck-kun11 Yeah, I find Robin’s design and personality boring, too, but I pulled her out of necessity. I have to disagree on Ruan Mei, though, I think her design and especially her animations are gorgeous. Also, she’s one of the few morally questionable playable characters in this game or Genshin that Hoyo has made no attempt to soften or make more likable, which I find interesting. She’s quietly dangerous rather than boring to me.
