honestly, Flacco looked better than any other Browns QB for like 95% of this game. The holes in the Browns defense were close to being perfectly made for a team like the Rams. if we had Joe Flacco from the start of the season playing like he did today, hard to see the Browns not having a better record than we currently do.
From a Rams fan i gained a ton of respect for Flacco today. The dude for over half this game was torching our defense and impressed the hell out of me. Good to see him out there still slinging it and the Jets should feel like clowns for letting Zach Wilson start over him.
For me the Defense has done WAY BETTER then I expected coming into the year. Almost the entire 11 are late round picks and nobodies! I know they aren't elite by any means but they have definitely surprised me for the better.

Flacco played well, and Stafford played well. I am a 49ers fan since birth, and I always root for the rams when not playing them. I just love the culture they have, and this is a good young team. Puka is phenomenal. Hopefully, Kupp can find his place in this new offense with Williams and Puka.
As a 50 yr Ram fan, appreciate the compliment. Shanahan has done an amazing job as well. Great to have both teams being led by innovative young guys working with talented GMs. You can see the influence they have both had on the league.
As a BYU fan, I have loved Puka for years, It's interesting that he wasn't rated very fast, but on Jet sweep and today he looks dang fast, gotta love the kid, He and Taysom are always smiling. They both are fun to watch.

Flacco should be the QB for the rest of the season, no question. The offense, as injured as it is, looked more alive than it has in the past 6 weeks. Stefanski's play calling is erratic and mindboggling, but Flacco at QB gives us a chance. To make it to the postseason, they need to get Njoku the ball, all the recievers need to quit the drops, and Stefanski has to call better plays.

Loved the last eight minutes of this game lol. However, the highlight of the game was the very first touchdown. Those of you who watched the game live, you recall that Stafford did not have that played called in the huddle. He saw something in the Defense, audible out of it, and then ran and tossed the touchdown. The fact that the dude is this smart plus still has arm strength is the reason why a lot of people are starting to think this team may have what it takes to go a little bit farther than just a wild card.
Flacco showed today, that we wasted 230 million, and draft picks. For 8 games, all we heard for Watson was, "he's gotta knock the rust off", "he's gotta get his timing back. " Flacco literally comes off the streets 2 weeks ago, no mini camp, no training camp, no pre-season, and tosses for close to 300yds with 2TD's. Total waste of 230 million.

Watsons contract is quite literally irrelevant in the long run. Same with the draft picks as we were going to be competitive anyway. With Watson, you are able to elevate the offense with the run and pass due to his downfield accuracy and his athleticism. With Watson under center for the browns, he will be there for the next decade. In this next decade, the browns will continue to be competitive.
Not really. I mean they lost both starting offensive tackles. It's a miracle they are blocking as well as they have been. Hell more than half the starting players are out on injury. You just can't win without your starters usually.

@@earlelpearl nah he's been on the roster 2 weeks with one week to prepare with guys he's never played with or met before. New playbook, plus being away from the game for awhile you're going to have rust, and execution issues. He'll only get better imo. Was a pretty good debut all things considered.

Also he probably approached the Browns and offered his services instead of sitting around waiting for someone to call him. Oh and he didnt refuse workouts for teams and instead insisted on holding his own workout with a media circus. Even if he didnt he was still a good QB his entire career, a proven winner. Very little drama historically and just seems like an overall positive prescence to have in the locker room and around the team. Basically everything that Kap isnt. Sure he can't run like Kap, but hes far more accurate (and thats a low bar and Kap still couldnt clear it) and the Browns have really good flip options if he gets too pressured and needs to get it out.

Loved the last eight minutes of this game lol. However, the highlight of the game was the very first touchdown.
Those of you who watched the game live, you recall that Stafford did not have that played called in the huddle. He saw something in the Defense, audible out of it, and then ran and tossed the touchdown.
The fact that the dude is this smart plus still has arm strength is the reason why a lot of people are starting to think this team may have what it takes to go a little bit farther than just a wild card.

Flacco showed today, that we wasted 230 million, and draft picks. For 8 games, all we heard for Watson was, "he's gotta knock the rust off", "he's gotta get his timing back. " Flacco literally comes off the streets 2 weeks ago, no mini camp, no training camp, no pre-season, and tosses for close to 300yds with 2TD's. Total waste of 230 million.

After a full off season, full ota's, summer camp, pre- season, we STILL heard those same excuses. Flacco walks in off the streets 2 weeks ago, gets 1 week of practice with the starters, and has a more consistent passing game, then any game that Watson has played. And that's not counting today's drops. Even cleveland radio personalities have said that Watson has not performed anywhere near, like a 230 million dollar QB. We're almost halfway through his contract, and have zero to show for it, besides one good half against Baltimore. Ya, that screams elite. Next year, I guarantee, after week 1, we hear the excuse, "you gotta give his shoulder time. " "you gotta let him get his timing back. " Nothing but more excuses. That's what losers do, make excuses.
Watsons contract is quite literally irrelevant in the long run. Same with the draft picks as we were going to be competitive anyway. With Watson, you are able to elevate the offense with the run and pass due to his downfield accuracy and his athleticism. With Watson under center for the browns, he will be there for the next decade. In this next decade, the browns will continue to be competitive.

Not really. I mean they lost both starting offensive tackles. It's a miracle they are blocking as well as they have been. Hell more than half the starting players are out on injury. You just can't win without your starters usually.
We've lost a lot of players to injuries and 80% of the starting roster on offense and defense is playing with injuries
