I just got this artbook in the mail today. I don't know how many times I've watch your video so I knew what the pics looked like but when I got it and looked through it myself. It felt different having it in my hands. My mom even looked at it, she liked the book as well. I was told that it would take about two weeks to get here, so I was surprised when it got here in three days.
I figured out what we think are short stories are actually the script that the voice actors read in the game. That's what I think because Clear's route is long and there are lots of pages. Also they got the name of the lion wrong in the book. In the game Trip calls him Welter.
I hope I can read them one day haha. And I think when it comes to the names, it comes down to the difference of what it is in Japanese vs English. And then what it is from Japanese and then translated into English. Plus I think the fan translation might be different. They don't have the letter V in Japanese but they do have the letter W, or the sound of the letters anyways. I think it similar to the case with Spice and Wolf, where the actual name is Holo but in some translations they say Horo because of the way it sounds and is spelled in Japanese.

Just always be cautious and do your research when buying after market of course. My Figure Collection also has a list of a ton of websites and links you could check out as well! You’ll probably need to manually search for the books on those websites to see if they have it. But My Figure Collection is an amazing resource for collectors to track their collections and find items they want. I hope that’s helpful!! 👍
