Second is that the M.X.E.S was trying to stop us from freeing the mimic,we were shutting down the nodes therefore helping the mimic. Gregory is as innocent as - trespassing - operate machinery without licence -evading/avoding authority - arson(in multiple ending) - stealing of property (freddy) - more than 3 murder to his name ( if you read the book you'll know what i mean) - cyber attack(hacking into the pizzaplex on many occasion) - not having a driver licence /not even old enough to drive - destruction of fazbear property 5x Am not gonna go on all of them but hes probably wanted that why we still see poster of him if he was charged for sll his crime someone already did the calculation it would be 153 year and probably an execution and i belive that Gregory drop the elevator imo (Remember people line overlapping is not intentional its a bug)

Ngl, I think the "Gregory" at the end was still the Mimic. Because, "Ahh yes, Gregory has a button that makes a random elevator in the middle of a ruined PizzaPlex plummet to the ground when pressed." My theory is that the Mimic is trying to harvest Remnant or make Cassie into a vengeful spirit. Cassie's soul would probably make more Remnant via fear and betrayal than just fear itself. And Cassie's spirit going after the real Gregory would make him less of a problem in the Mimic's plans. P.S. I loved the video. I love it when Henry reacts (especially with Charlie there too).

The logic is simple we see that the mask can also copy voices cause it copied Cassie’s voice earlier. Also the faze ear entertainment was at risk of plummeting in cancellation so what are the chances that they did not want the mimic getting out and then they get sued if someone gets hurt if they reopened
Just a formatting bug in the captions: the source code differentiates Gregory's lines from the Mimic's lines, and the elevator scene is all Gregory. Remember that this is still Security Breach, so you should expect the presence of at least some bugs, like the one that allowed Matt to pass over one of the most lore heavy sections of the game in his first playthrough on GTLive.

Sorry, but we checked the source code: the elevator was all Gregory. The Mimic's lines in Gregory's voice were labeled differently than Gregory, and none of it's lines were the elevator. Sorry to rain on that particular fan theory parade, but it got pretty quickly disproven.

Voice lines are labeled Gregory's in the source code, which is different from the Mimic's lines.
