    Bass player here. I’ve been trying to find this video of us for years! I think we taped this on an off night for the Music as a weapon tour with Disturbed. Thanks for sharing. Definitely good memories.

      Nick St. Denis thanks for putting out two of the most solid albums of that time period. Cheers!

      gorrillafoot Thank you, man! We really appreciate it. We’re all still good friend and communicate regularly. We all have projects that we’re working on and we did a reunion show awhile back but It wouldn’t be out of the world to get back and do something special again.

    • @gorrillafoot

      Nick St. Denis now THAT would be incredible. If you guys ever do anything again I will be there. Keeping an eye on you guys!

      gorrillafoot Awesome! If you wanna check out our projects, Tim Narducci has a killer band called “The Watchers”, I have a hardcore band called “Deathwishkid” and Philip Bailey has a hardcore band called “Spirit in the room”. Adam Ruppel is producing a bunch of cool stuff, too. Genres are all over the place but it’s still core influences of Systematic.

      Such a great band from this era! My band covered two of your songs when I played in an earlier band. It's pretty awesome seeing you comment on here!

    One of the most underrated bands of the era. Happy to have seen them a few times live on the Music As A Weapon Tour.

    Yes - I've been looking for these HBO Reverb shows for 20+ years! If I remember correctly, I think Systematic was featured on multiple episodes. That show introduced me to that band - I loved their first national release 'Somewhere in Between.'
    I don't remember where I got it but I had or have some versions that were produced with a smaller footprint. i.e., giving "Beginning of the End" more grit and a better over all feel like they displayed in the Reverb episodes. That band should've gotten more attention 🤘~💀~🤘

    This band suffered from DBCD( Dead Boring Crowd Disease )They were so far ahead in their time that people couldn’t comprehend how DAMN good this band was . Is so freaking hard to hear a band play like that that when performing live . And this was 20 years ago !

    Systematic never stood a chance. There music and lyrics came out at the wrong time. Systematic was the band everyone forgot about. I bought there first album and was hooked the minute I played there first track. These were ahead of there time and the most forgotten band of the early 2000's. Systematic had great music and lyrics. Plus they had some major bands backing these guys, to break through and go to the next level but just couldn't get it done. I am sure there's a lot of ppl out there that would love to see Systematic make a come back.

    I remember metallica endorsing these guys. They were supposed to blow up

    • @nickmoscatello9960
      @nickmoscatello9960 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They had some big drummers play on their records. Paul Bostaph did the debut (and then joined the band) and Josh Freese recorded the second

    • @nickelbagn
      @nickelbagn 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Nick Moscatello Paul actually didn’t play on the first record. He had a hand in putting the band together in the beginning but he went back to Slayer in the early stages of the band. Phil Bailey player drums on the first record and Paul (and josh) played drums on the second.

    I found this band thanks to ATV Off-road fury 2! I never knew they had a singer who played rythm guitar. That dynamic wasn't popular back then for Alt. Metal bands

    Thanks so much for uploading this!!!!! So cool, the first album (Somewhere In Between) was basically the soundtrack to my childhood. So glad ATV Offroad Fury introduced me to these guys. Its obv they killed and still do haha. Ive replayed "If Only" about 10000 times haha. One of my faves. Now if only (pun) there was footage about ATVs other band "Head On". . .

    For whatever reason, I actually lump these guys with Ultraspank (maybe I saw them on Ozzfest the same year?) as bands that I always thought were much better than they ever got credit for. They were heavy, but very catchy. Some bands I just never get why they never got bigger.

  • @godmachine12

    Saw these guys open a show-can't remember who the headlining band was-ages ago and they sounded just like this. I had never heard of them, but when the vocals came through, I started to pay attention. They only played a handful of songs, but fuck me they were the surprise of the night. A bit of nostalgia here for sure. Great band! \m/
