Sir, I have a small doubt please clarify me. While I'm sloving this type of related problem they mentioned 60mm.I have divided 6 equal parts But between these numbers Focus point became large. Is it correct?
If the given length is not divisible by the no of required equal parts then we have to follow the graphical method. For example if I want to divide 50mm length into seven equal parts then each equal part would be of 50/7=7.1428mm. For this measurement of 7.1428mm we can't use scale as least count of scale is 1mm. We can take 7mm in scale but then what about left out part 0.1428?
