Thanks to your video, I was able to make this gig. I have made 11 shutters so far, I’m working on nos. 12-15, and 28 to go after that batch. A 3-year project. In my case, to replicate my 70-year-old shutters with maybe 15 coats of paint on them, I calculated a 67 degree angle. Each shutter has 32 slats. My channel is 2.5” wide and 1.5” high. The snugger the better, but too tight and it’s hard to push the stiles through. Instead of the drill bit separating system, I made an overlay template and I can quickly and easily mark the stiles exactly where to line up each of the 16 cuttings for the top and bottom sections.
In the second part of the video where it is normal speed, and you are doing both sides of the frame for the louvers, it looks like both sides are separated by another piece of wood. Am I seeing this correctly? Or is it just two halves pressed together. In either case, did you screw them together to prevent movement? At first I thought it was one piece of wood that you could cut later, but I don't thinks so now. Thanks for the video. I like your jig the best of what I have seen on youtube (though I wish the first half went a bit slower.
What size is the router bit and also what size is the drill bit you insert in the hole for getting correct distance ? - is there another video about doing the wood slats that make up the louver ?
When a person makes a six minute video, that could have been done in 45 seconds.... It's worse than a 20y old girl with a video trying to explain how a curling iron works
Buy me a coffee ? www.buymeacoffee.com/tarassych
Slow the video down and narrate it, so it's useful, and I'll consider the coffee.

Two at a time is genius! Thanks for sharing!!
¡Excelente video!
that is the best jig I have seen. I wish you would slow down and explain angles.
Look at the jig. they are 45's
Exactly what I needed to know! I am now empowered! Thank you.
have fun now :)
Most excellent jig!Necessity forces us into creative genius doesn't it? Maybe I will. Figure it out when I turn 75
Nicely done!
Mind blown right now. Why can't I think of this stuff! lol
OK, you've made me feel inadequate. Brilliant, this is just what I needed to understand. Many thanks!
Excelente vídeo 👍🏻

And now I come back to see it again, because I m gonna make this!😊
Good idea!
thanks!

drill and router bit are both same - 8mm, distance between cuts does not depend on bit size here, only to the plywood template
Good work. Where are you from?
Ukraine
I hope you are safe.
Thank you,well done.
Did You make it with Woodbex?
Superb! 8 mm cutter bit?
yes, that time I used 8mm bit
Bravissimo, complimenti! Ciao
What is the angle of the louver cover?
in my case it was 45 degree
@@HandCraftChannel Thanks, the video helped me a lot.
Buen trabajo! De que medida o ancho son las ranuras o canales?

Useless to make a video this fast if your intention is to teach someone
Videos that have annoying music, speed up by a big factor, have no dialogue are a waste of everybody's time.
Bad table saw form.
This time I'll use woodprix instructions to make it by myself.
music is annoying!
