He doesn't have superpowers like other heroes and he doesn't believe he's innately better than the villains because he knows how easy it is to go down that path. He chooses to be better than them and not take the easy way. He's just that same boy who's doing what he felt would makes his parents proud, trying to bring peace to and protect Gotham in his own way. He doesn''t want to be Batman. Being Batman really ruins his personal life and puts his few loved ones that he lets get close in danger. (Jason, Barbara, Selina etc.) But he knows he has to be Batman because Batman IS needed. Gotham NEEDS Batman. Yes he does attract villains but some of those supervillains would still run rampant had he not put on the cowl. He's older, stronger, and wiser, but he's still that little boy from the alley who decided to do something and protect other children from having to go through what he did.
Not sure if you take requests, but I'd like to see something like this with the Metal Gear Solid series with "the man who sold the world" as the song. Though there may be a bit too much to work with
