Kihyun goes back in time to save Jooheon who died in a car accident. He tries multiple times to stop the accident from happening, but is unable to do so. Then he sees Hyungwon and figures out, that the only way to save Jooheon is to take his place, because thats the only way to change what happened without messing up time. Minhyuk goes back to meet his friend or brother, that he lost contact with, but the guys in the suits send him back to his own time before he can take I.M with him. Wonho goes back to meet shownu on a regular basis to train with him, but is found out and gets his watch taken away. Shownu waits for him to show up, but he never comes back.
I thought minhyuk tried to escape the time police with IM back to his time but cos it was not possible (like there is a rule to only be the holder to time machine in order to travel) he went back to his time but the watch got broken cos he broke the rule .. but reading ur theory (maybe the members already explained it.. idk) made me rethink

This is the theory according to what I think after seeing mv over and over again. Hyungwon is time controller and he gives the watch to random peoples (I think protocol terminal is a tool or media used to explore the time) and of course it's forbidden then there is a man in black team looking for anyone who uses it. 1. Kihyun lost his bestfriend because of the accident he wanted to spin the time to save Jooheon. after many times trying he always fail, until he met with Hyungwon because he remember that Hyungwon who gave the watch and Hyungwon help him but destiny can't be changed that day there is an accident and some is dead. they can't change destiny so Kihyun choose to save Jooheon. 2. I.M is the brother's from Minhyuk. He miss his dead brother's and turns back the time to save him but once again fate can't be changed, I.M releases Minhyuk's hand when he wants bring I.M to the future. 3. Shownu is Wonho's father. Why can I think so? because Wonho came from the future (2047) he missed his father who is an athlete. His father died in the future so that Wonho wanted to be close to his father (see when Shownu helped to wear kendo clothes to Wonho, Wonho looks very touched) Unfortunately Wonho failed to visit Shownu appa again because he caught the man in black team. the core of my theory, destiny can't be changed even though they can turn back the time. Theres 3 storyline here. Kihyun and jooheon, shownu and wonho, minhyuk and IM. If you notice, in the beginning there is an announcement ' time travel is not allowed. Do not take any watch from CHW'. CHAE HYUNGWON = CHW. Kihyun who was trying to save jooheon from the car crash constantly time travels but he canr get to the right time to save jooheon. So, beg hyungwon (the time traveller watch owner) to switch his place with jooheon. So that jooheon can survive. For wonho and shownu storyline, wonho is living in the future. We can assume that shownu is wonho's dad but he died before wonho is born. Therefore, wonho time travels to practice kendo with shownu and want his affection. Shownu knew that wonho was not from the present time. But he keep waiting for him till the end. F or Minhyuk and IM story. They are both childhood friends. Minhyuk travels to meet his friend in the past. When the time traveller cops shoot him and send him back to his present time he lost all memories of IM. You should listen to all tracks in their album. You only find HQ tracks when its montsa x. > Tropical Night ( raw hiphop song. And i.m sacrificed to be caught by the authorities instead of giving minhyuk, in their scene, im let go of minhyuk’s hand. Then in kihyun and jooheon’s scene, kihyun sacrificed his life just to make jooheon live. this is only my understanding😂
