I get that the look is more appealing on the 10th gen, but if you’re a student and you’re just going to use it for notes and homework I would go with the 9th gen. You’ll save some money this way😊 I’ve actually returned this iPad fairly quickly because it did not fit my workflow. I thought I would use it a lot but every time I wanted to get some work done I grabbed my Macbook instead. It was a waste of money otherwise. Good luck deciding 🍀
Well for me it was very hard since I didn't even order the cable that you need to connect it with... I did not read into the pencil enough so I found out that the pencil needs to be connected in a weird way, through those little connectors as shown in the video and then a cable and then to the iPad... There are lots of videos on TH-cam you can use for instructions on how to connect it so that is nice.
idk if im too late to reply, but its a bit of a faff and you have to buy an adapter (mine was 9 pounds) and the main annoying thing is you cant draw while its plugged in, so a little inconvenient. but i usualy leave it charging when im out for a few hoyrs so it will be fully charged by the time i get home wow thanks for reading this far lol

This iPad was already up to date. If the iPad isn't up to date then it will ask you to update, so literally only press the options it shows and then it will update😊
The 10th gen is cheaper and I think there's not a big difference in performance in comparison to the Air 5, depending on what you're using it for of course😊 Just based on the specs because I've never owned an Air 5.

It seems to me like you have two options. - get good grades in order to get an iPad; - earn some money so you can buy it yourself. Hope you can get the iPad you want soon!
