In my opinion, not all talent are recognized because of people's mindset. Asia has a lot of talented people and Philippines is one of wells of talented singers. Now a days, racism is more rampant in western country, racist perceive asian as lesser people. Even how talented an Asian is, they will always be judge based on their skin color and country of origin. More over, there was an attempt to define Filipina as a domestic help in the dictionary. This perception contributes to the stagnation of career and talents of many Filipino.
