Hey Servais, sure thing🙂. And that's the beauty of Ansible. It allows you to automate tasks such as shell scripts across multiple nodes from one system instead of manually logging into every node. I'll be demonstrating this in upcoming lectures.
I agree to some extent.🙂 In fact, SSH Public key authentication is the safest remote login option. However, in some cases logging in as root is ideal for users who know exactly what they are doing in the system. After all, it's for administrative purposes, right?

$ ip a
Also for the remote machine : are u using virtual box or what?
I'm using virtual servers for both the control and the remote nodes.
