The Ode of Ressurrection can't bring back to life people who died thousands of years ago and he clearly didn't do what Mavuika did with the whole rebirth shenanigan. Not to mention, Xbalanque established the rules only for the war and made sure that the Pyro Archons wouldn't get the nigh infinite life span of a god, so it'd be very out of character for him to even want to come back. All he wanted was to see if his beloved nation was in good shape after their triumph over the Abyss.
