I love my 2014 CRZ, gets lots of attention and regualarly get over 40mpg. Vast improvement over my old 2007 Saturn Auro XR 3.6 V6 with only got mid 20s. Slower yes, but still very fun to drive
I'll chime in here. Got a 2013 model. Love it all over the south US. Gets 40 mpg regularly. Just about to hit 100k miles and still looks great next to newer cars. Engineering wise, it's damn solid. Only hade to replace battery, tires, oil. No major repairs needed as of yet. Only thing that got my goat is: the door handle. Plastic make that gave out a few weeks back, so I have to unlock and open the passenger door to drop my window on the drivers side. $118 part and an estimated 3 hours to replace.
Tbh been thinking about this car a lot recently. It’s my hybrid of choice if I ended up losing my civic. But it’s just that. I love my civic FK7 hatchback :(
Did you pick a CRZ up? I just picked up one last week, 2011 manual, a very fun car to drive. It's not fast like my FD2R and it encourages me to drive sensibly and get the most fuel economy. A joy to drive that's for sure!
@@thelongnguyens Long story, short? No, I had a stroke due to carbon monoxide poisoning from my FK7 Civic hatchback. Exhaust. After I heal and go back to driving/working, I may! But nothing yet.
The K20A needs the double amount of fuel... and for 200hp, this is far from economical at all! The 310hp Civic Type R needs less fuel then the 201hp Civic Type R with the K20A Engine...
Is this the same guy that used to review super bikes in the old format of Top Gear. There was a fun must read article about this car in a recent issue of TG Mag.
I drove this car when my friend bought it and i gotta say that i love it. I'd love to buy one but I heard rumors that a model is coming out with a K block because Honda is going to enter the car into one of those races that require a production model to have a regular engine event thing.Cant remember what its called at the moment.
I bought crz 2 years back.great look fun city drive but not on the highway. very underpowered on the highway since IMA battery will be flat. solution? I turbocharged it!hehe...checkout my turbocharged crz on my channel

Yes but what you are failing to appreciate is that the guy reviewing the car is Northern Irish......hence he is using the English language and pronuciation precisely as it is intended to be used ! 😂😂😂👍
