For anyone who wants to learn this trick, just learn to table riffle shuffle and grab a deck that's already sorted into red/black halves, follow along with exactly as is happening in the performance part and you'll see it is self-working - and a lengthy tutorial isn't really necessary if you simply put 2 and 2 together. You could do some false cuts or jog shuffles at the beginning of the routine to make it look like the deck is getting a really thorough mixup, but even at it's bare bones without this subtle convincer the effect is really mind blowing anyway. It's certainly one of the most effective self-working tricks I've seen because even after so much participation from the helper/spectator, the deck is sorted impossibly into the two colours. I'm not excusing the the poor quality of the video (cos it's pretty average for a channel called Kingo Hearts) but I'm at least grateful he put a video up of the setup and mentioned the only shuffle necessary to pull off the trick. After watching this video, if you found it difficult to work out the method then just wait til you try reading books on magic.....
Don't know what happened but THE TUTORIAL DEFINITELY ENDS ABRUPTLY BEFORE HE'S FINISHED !! Kingo Hearts, you need to re-post this as a COMPLETE tutorial without it cutting off before you're finished.
Dave, I agree that the tutorial is pretty much useless, but once you organise the deck into reds and blacks, and learn how to table riffle shuffle (even a normal riffle shuffle can work), just follow along with the trick from the beginning. The beauty of the trick is that it is self-working. Only details you need to know is that at the end when separating into 3 piles, tell the spectator to stop at 16 cards, then stop again at 20 cards for the middle pile and the rest don't need to be counted out since they all make up the 3rd pile. I hope this clears some things up, but yea - this trick is entirely self working if you can riffle shuffle and the only thing you need to do is count cards at the end. Cheers
