Super excited about this. I'll definitely be uploading some longer cuts in the 10-15 minute range, in fact I made this cut 30 mins long to celebrate the Q3 8k news :D I'll soon have a cheap channel membership for those that want the extended cut also and dont want to have to download off the patreon.

I developed an autoimmune condition about 10 years ago that keeps me mostly homebound.Going out and doing things like this requires too much energy and very painful, because I cannot stand stand or walk very long. Anyway, I lived it up throughout my 20s doing fun things like your videos show, so experiencing again in VR is just awesome..makes me feel like I'm there. Thanks for bringing your vids to VR! I am a new patreon subscriber too.
That must be very difficult to go through! Pretty much the biggest motivator for me is when I hear that my experiences are making a difference like this. It’s why I’m still here 3 years later. Gonna keep working hard to create even more experiences.
Just finished downloading (on your patreon). This, the comic con in NY, and Hawaii are the ones I've most been looking forward to seeing. I used to live in FL, but was forced to move. I'm sure the realism of your videos is going to make me homesick. "Sunset at the beach El Matador Beach" looked so real, I swear I felt the push and pull of the tide as the waves rolled in/out.

I've always wanted to go to spring break but I feel like the reality is you'd be waking up 2 weeks later with a lot of regret, much like most of the people in this video are going to be doing

Just an fyi, none of your videos display in VR over the Quest browser on youtube. They only work in the updated TH-cam app, but that doesn't appear to be the case for other VR channels like AirPano
This is because AirPano does Non-VR 360 2D content with no actual depth like real life. My content is stereoscopic 8k 3D VR180 which provides much greater immersion than standard 360 2D content but comes at the cost of much much more expensive equipment/much greater difficulty to film/edit.
This is why AirPano works over quest browser and my content only works in immersive 180 3D 8k through TH-cam VR app for streaming on Q2/3. The direct download higher bitrate 180 3D 8k full length versions work with Meta TV app on Quest 2/3 and MoonVR player on AVP in immersive 180 3D 8k. Crazy part is even the streaming quality you see here pales in comparison to the high bitrate direct downloads. It makes the 8k 3D 180 streaming look like its 6k lol.
@@SliceoflifeVR is this something that changed recently? I definitely watched all of your VR videos through the quest browser like 3 or 4 months ago and they were in VR. Not a complaint as watching them on the TH-cam app with 3d was a lot cooler but just wonder on the change as the browser can play 8k vs 4k for the app.
It is probably a recent change then. A couple weeks ago TH-cam VR app updated to allow 180 3D 8k streaming actually. Not sure why this latest episode is in 4k only for streaming currently. The files are so massive and cpu/gpu intensive that I imagine it might just take a few weeks or longer for youtube to have the 8k version ready. The 4k version already takes youtube about 4 days to encode. I will be releasing a channel membership for the full length streaming versions, but it will probably take 1-2 months or longer considering how long it takes youtube to process 8k quality.
For now, the only way to enjoy the latest releases is to direct download from the patreon in uncompressed 8k, which includes (vs the 8k streaming version) much better life like/less dull color, much less distortion over the entire image, much less artifacts, and 8 channel uncompressed spatial audio over the 8k streaming version with 4 channel compressed audio (compressed audio reduces quality of all sounds including voices as well as reduces spatial awareness with the reduced channel count).
What does the full feature of this film contain on pateron?
Great question. There are now 12 preview experiences on TH-cam that patreon members are able to enjoy in full length. So what does full length mean?
Full length experiences contain many deleted scenes, deleted interviews, and extended cuts of many of the scenes seen in the preview youtube cut. All of this provides much greater immersion than the preview.
It goes from "This is a really cool 3D 180 video" to "I literally feel like I have just teleported to Florida, let me grab a drink and join the party"
