Thanks for your very thorough review! I’m wanting to try fpv goggles at some time. I’m wondering about just using the split screen feature using a phone screen and goggles, I’m a bit far sighted due to age can it adjust focus somehow?
One more question for you Paul, is the vertical axis of the gimbal adjustable on the fly? Or is it that you adjust it to desired angle manually before flight?
Honestly I would have to say our of the 2 the HS720E is a great Drone that was actually my first drone but Holy Stone has the the HS720G now and I love that Drone it is basically the same as the 720E except the camera is on a 3-Axis Gimble on the 720G so the video is much better on the G !
@@paulhopkins1905 Thanks for your reply, appreciate it. I ended up buying a DJI MINI SE. The majority of people that I asked for advice all said to pay a little extra and get the MINI SE. I'm glad I did, it's an awesome drone.
The FPV Range is 400 meters (1640ft) the actual distance is it can go with connection to the controller is 900m (2952ft) but it would definitely be out of your VLOS at that range lol! Don't forget those distances are in Perfect Conditions with No interference at all!
mine starts flights out good and steady then it just wants to toilet bowl in circles.....no matter how many times i calibrate it....its to the point where Ive almost lost it..
Only thing I can think of is make sure your calibrating it away from any metal rebarb under concrete, metal awnings, power lines ect try holding the drone about 3ft off the ground while doing the Compass Calibration and make sure your calibrating the Gyro on a flat level surface if none of that works reach out to Holy Stone (usa@holystone.com) or call the customer service number in the manual they have one of the best customer services I have dealt with, they will get you taken care of! Hope this helps.
I got a new one and when i just takeoff it automatically starts going in any direction,i even calibtated it why is it happening? I flew it in the parking lot and it was highly unstable . Could you suggest some fix ?
Have you tried calibrating it in a different location there could be interference where doing the compass Calibration, I have had to recalibration a few different drone a handful of times to get it to calibrate right also make sure you do the Gyros Calibration on flat level surface, if none of that works you may need to contact Holy Stone it could be a defective computer board it sucks but unfortunately it does happen on occasion!

Most of the Google you put your phone have a wheel on the top or bottom that you can use to adjust the focus, thank you for nice comment!
